Hello po mga mam/sir, I'm relatively new member here but i have been reading this thread many times na. Although andami naman tlgang tips here na parang nakaka excite itry pag nagreview na, pero once na mag sagot na ako ng macmillan parang hirap na hirap akong magsagot sa describe image. I always ended up reading tips and all pero sa application ngarag na. It's like 3 days na akong nagttry magreview ng seryoso pero at the end of the day, wala padin.

I took ielts before and these was my scores

How do you guys did it? Especially sa mga 90 dyan...

@cheezy_pops, struggle din ako sa speaking.. try to practice/memorize templates, madam dito sa thread..loud voice at minimal stuttering and headset microphone alignment really helps..

Hello po! may ask lang ako.. sa Monday na ang exam ko.. nasstress at nagpapanic na ako kasi ito yung mock exam results ko:

Nagimprove ng konti ang speaking pero bumaba naman ako sa writing... hayst..
Bali ung una ko gnamit ko headset ng iPhone... ung ngayon tinanggal ko kasi pag nagssample ako too loud lagi... so ndi ko alam if dahil dun ba or talagang soplak ako sa speaking... haha... ung bar po ba sa gilid pag nageexam ung may green and red indication ba un na masyadong malakas pag red? dpat ba imaintain ko lagi sa green level? or wla naman effect un?

Tapos po pala. ung practice ko is ung voice to text ni chrome.. so todo binubuka ko na bibig ko at ineemphasize ko mga "t" , "ed" ganyan kasi pra marecognize ng speech to text. then inapply ko sa speaking so nagimproved naman pero ndi ko lang alam if ganon ba dpat or tlgang natural lang... hehe

@Lynlyn mam, parang parehas tayo ng assess result ng ACS , 5pts lang din nakuha ko so kelangan ko din 20pts sa PTE , goldkit po ba yung kinuha nyo at self study lang po ba?

@pinoycoder question lang po. anong ginamit mong technicque sa summarize written text?
yung kay McMillan ba na limit to 30 words or yung sabi sa PTE-A score quide na bet. 5-75, in this case, pwede more than 30 words. thanks po..

@dorbsdee as the words needed is specified, do not attempt to exceed the word limit in making essays lagi. Kasi, error ko yan kaya bumaba writing ko sa actual test. May effect sa score pag na exceed mo as instructed. You may just optimize the words without losing its essence, fit mo lang exactly para chances of point credit is high.

Sa written text naman, if sinabi na one sentence summary lang, same applies. Basta follow what is instructed.

May tanong lang ako.. yun scores ba sa pte, automatic mag send sa DIBP? I did not click the send scores yet, kaya lang I received an email of confirmation of score report order. Ano kaya pwedeng gawin not to send the scores? Thanks.

@crosshair17 don't worry about that. Sakin din automatic nag send. Kung ano naman ideclare mo number sa application mo yun ang iaccess ng dibp

Btw, para sa mga test takers na mataas sa speaking. Pano po ginawa nyo sa Read aloud section? Mabilis ba? May mga nagsasabi kasi na dapat half the time mo sya matapos. I can't remember what I did during my first take, hehehe. Medyo lutang kasi noon.

@liyah22 read aloud just read in a moderate pace.. Use proper intonation and punctuation expressions.. Para kang nagrereport sa tv ng documentary. Nagkekwento, declamation.. Sa akin usually may natitira na 4-5 seconds
