@liyah22 ok . Sa trident kasi, during the break, they put a sticker on you indicating that you are on a break. tas they will give you your ID and locker key. I assumed lang you can open your locker since they are giving you your locker key. after, before you can go in the testing room, they will check you and your pockets again. para safe, those taing the exam, make sure naka kain na kayo. hard to risk it

@liyah22 hindi naman magulo...sa totoo lang ganyan naman ginagawa ko din context clues to have an idea what fits sa sentence. sadyang malas ata ako sa last test ko kasi yung mga nakuha ko medyo yung iba unfamiliar words sa akin. tipong mga academic terms. I am actually a bookworm naman kaso usually non fiction novels ang binabasa ko, kaya i seldom encounter academic terms from those. Papractice ako this weekend ng sa fill in the blanks para pasok na sa banga! thank you ulit

Medyo OT, pero in case lang naman na ok result ko sa 30 ng morning marereceive kasi yun and invitation round will be at 10pm sa Aug30 right? If I edit my eoi naman earlier than 10pm makakaabot paba yun?

@vylette abot yan. I was hoping to get my results Sana before aug 15. Kaso napili yung exam ko for manual checking. Di tuloy ako umabot sa first round ng Eoi. Hopefully abot Ako sa second round. Sabay Na Tayo

@michel_75 ) mababaliw na kasi ako kaka retake ng PTE iniisip ko na lang na magiging 79 nako kahit sa pangarap lang just to have something to look forward to everytime 9k goes down the drain )

@vylette if you believe it, it will happen with regards to getting an invite, it depends how many applicants are in the queue. If not much, then aabot ka for sure. Kung hindi naman, meron pa 2nd week ng September. hehe

@xiaolico maluwag pala sa Pinas? That's good, kasi dito kaya ayaw nila maaccess ang locker kasi feeling nila, nasa locker ang sagot, hahahaha. Dyan ba bawal din jacket? Also do they check pati rim ng glasses and sleeves? Minsan na OA ako sa kanila kasi English test yan random ang questions, so pano ka mag cheat?

Hello, guys! ngayon lang ako makakapagreport sa inyo ng resulta ng PTE exam ko. Nagkasakit ako right after ko magexam. Haha! dumugo ang ilong ko sa mga ibat ibang accent. Bumigay din ang katawan ko after ng mga puyat days and tension sa exam na ito. Pinilit ko yung 1 week na preparation for this exam. I grabbed the opportunity nung biglang naging available yung Aug 22. Nagbabakasakali na makaabot before magkatapusan habang di pa naguupdate ng list yung state kung saan ako pwede. Unfortunately, sumabit ako sa speaking. Ito yung scores ko :

Ito yung mga napansin ko:

Sa Reading, mas madali sa actual exam. Kasi never ako pumasa sa mock tests sa reading. Hindi ko pa natapos yung reading kasi naubusan ako ng oras. Pero sya pa yung pinakamataas kong nakuha sa lahat (sana sa susunod kong pagtake, panindigan na nilang madali talaga ;P)

Sa Listening naman, sa highlight incorrect words, dahil nga mabilis magsalita yung iba, pag di ka nakasunod agad, or masyado ka nagfocus sa isang part, hindi ka na makaksunod dun sa iba. kaya di mo na din alam kung may mali na ulit sinabi. Dapat talaga sundan yung nagsasalita. Need din talaga sanayin ang ears natin sa mga Australian and British accents.. nakakaloka sila.

Sa Writing, ang napansin ko, hanggat kaya imaximize yung 300. Kesyo bola bolahin na ang essay. Di ko na nga alam mga pinagsasabi ko dun. Pero di ko din kinaya yung 300 words. hanggang mga 210 lang ata ako. Di bale, sa sususnod kakarereen ko na yung 300 words na yan By the way, isa lang pala napunta sa aking essay.

At ang Speaking.. huhuhu! nataranata ako sa describe image nung may pinakitang map ng Australia na walang ka-label label. tapos majority ng color nya yellow orange. may konting konti orange at red orange. pero parang di mo na nga sya mapapansin.. dahl sobrang konti. tapos ang legend lang nung image na yun ay yung mga squares na kulay yellow orange, orange, red orange. tapos may thousand thousand numbers.. Density daw. Wala ako masabi dun. As in. nablangko na ako. :-O
para kasing kahit gamitin ko yung mga template dun, ay hindi uubra.
Isa pang ikinaloka ko yung Re-tell Lecture. hindi ko din kaya pagsabayin yung nakikinig tapos nagsusulat.. nawawala ako.
May isa pa akong maling nagawa. Sumasagot ako kahit hindi pa recording yung status. So by the time na nagbeep na habang nagsasalita ako, uulitin ko yung sinabi ko pero parang may kasama ng taranta. Kaya para akong nagmamadali sumagot tuloy. tapos inuulit ulit ko pa. Kasi nga nataranta na. Sa Answer Short Question ata yun.
At dahil tension na tension ako, hawak ako ng hawak sa mic.. ewan ko ba.. :-SS

Ayun lang po.. Sana po'y maging aral sa inyo ang mga pagkakamali ko.. Wag pong tularan.. X_X

@jwolf you will get it next time grabe lang siguro pressure sayo kasi kita mo nagkasakit ka after. Napansin ko lang sa post mo with regards to writing, you said you weren't able to maximise the 300 words stated. E baka kasi makadagdag pa ng stress sayo yan, so share ko sayo experience ko kung ok lang, hihihi. In my essays, never pa ako umabot ng over 250 words. Mostly nasa 210 lang. Meron pa nga 201, but I manage to get good marks. I think as long as you follow the 200-300 words, you'll be fine, anything less or more, dun na ang problema. Goodluck on your next take.

@liyah22 am not sure about the jacket. I wore a shirt and jeans. less pockets the better. para di mapagdudahan hehe. but yes they also check the lenses of your glasses. they will ask you to show your pockets inside out

Done with my PTE exam earlier, however medyo strange lang na wala akong Re-Tell Lecture. I already have template but then hindi sya lumabas. May nakaexperience na ba nito?

Also, 2 essays ko - so ayun medyo napagod ako kakatype.

@xiaolico Hello, tama po ba yung Status nung PTE-Result nyo before is on-hold? I know it would take 5business days for the result, but then yung first take ko nung PTE - when I checked after a day "taken - Scores reportable" yung status, but at this time no pdf yet the only time I have the pdf result is when they email.

@SAP_Melaka tama. normally its 24hrs. and normal yung nakuha mo, as long as you dont have the email yet, you will not be able to open your scores. 24hrs or less talaga results niyan since automated. however, once a month they would do a manual checking. yun sa akin na tapat. kaya 5 days ako nag antay

@liyah22 Hello.. oo nga. Stressful talaga kasi nagwowork din ako and may baby pa. Makakapagstart lang ako magpractice pag gabi na talaga. pag tahimik na ang bahay dahil ako nalang ang gising..hehe. Anyway, tama ka nga. ang taas ng nakuha mo sa Writing. Galing! Yung choice of words din siguro malaking factor. Congrats!
