@pakjo kelangan first ka para mapunta ka dun sa "hiwalay" na room. Tahimik naman pumasok yung moderator kasama nung late comers tsaka kung focused ka halos di mo din sila mapapansin. Nung una, 3 lang kami tapos apansin ko lang na puno na pala yung room nung umingay na tlga hehehe!

Na-experience ko din yung pag-crash ng site nung ptepractice kahapon habang nasa kalagitnaan ng scored exam B. Sine-save naman yata nung system yung mga sagot kasi natapos ko naman yung exam kahit ilang ulit nag-crash at na-release naman yung score agad.

Usually nagka-crash siya sa akin pag isasubmit ko na yung buong exam (example: last part ng Speaking & Writing, pagkatapos ko isubmit yung 2nd essay, doon bumabagsak yung site tapos hihintayin ko mga ilang minuto para maging online ulit).

@auitdreamer maraming maraming salamat sa sample recording. Ganun pala ung speed nya. Kc mas mabilis ako magsalita noon haha. Kc ung mga sample recordings sa MacMillan at youtube mejo mabilis. Mas npopronounce nga ung words sa pacing m. Maraming salamat at nice voice din sis. Sana makuha ko n rin the THIRD time around. Wohoooo. Godbless sa mga hindi naggigive up.

Regarding sa makati test center, kung ikaw lng ang nkabook sa araw n un at mga nclex examinees mkakasabay m,(1st time) sau ang solo room pero within sa test room pa rin kaso parang solo k may door kc, pero kung lahat pte-a mageexam (my 2nd time) may gumamit nman ng separate room.

Regarding sa background noise, actually nung nagtetest ako ng mic, naririnig k ung boses ng iba sa recording pero mas malakas ung boses k so kelangan mas marinig ang boses m kesa sa ibang malakas din magsalita during the test. Focus lng kc mas naboboost din ang confidence m kung naririnig m boses ng iba, sa experience k mas kya k ng lakasan ung boses k at npapasmile ako habang ngbbasa, which is a good thing daw sa pronunciation kc naririnig m ung "dream chasing scenario" within the room, lahat tlga determinado mkapasa sa english requirement. So take things positive lng. Ung recording k lng ata kc dahil mabilis kaya hndi p umaabot ng 30secs sa describe image at retell lec nagnenext n ako agad.

S mga magtatake ulit n gagamitin ung sample recording ni @auitdreamer, update kau ha what has changed in ur scores. Maraming slamat po sa mga tulong niyo. Nxtyr n po ako magtatake para mpaghandaan.

Hi guys.. congrats po s mga passers ng PTE last November. I will be taking mine on 19 Dec @ RELC.

I did the first mock test sa gold kit, and got below 80 in all, lalo n sa reading. Makikihingi po sana ako ng tips on how to manage the time. Sa akin pong self assessment, I can do better in fill in the blanks than the rest of the exam types in reading, kaso nkukulangan n ako ng time pagdating dun. Hirap n hirap nmn po ako s multiple choice questions (specially multiple answers) and sa arrange paragraph. My target score po is 79 in all.

Please help to share tips on how to do well in READING multiple choice and arrange paragraph, as well as TIME management.

Also, tanong ko lng po, napansin ko kc s Listening section multiple choice (and even s ibang question types ata) walang timer sa scored mock test. Ganun dn po b s actual?

Anyone who took the PTE exam dto sa SG at RELC? Would you know po kung flexible b cla n magpastart ng exam before the scheduled time?

Hi @jerm_au16 i took the test last 29 Nov sa RELC. Bale sabay sabay kmi nag start lahat. after ng registration s isang room, saka kmi pinapasok s testing room. Wla nmn late nung exam day except s isang examinee n wlang dalang passport kaya hnd pinag exam.

Tanong lang po. Medyo maganda po scores ko L90 R87 S90 W87, tpos lht ng enabling skills 80+ except s written discourse n 56. pede pong paconfirm if 20 points ang maclaclaim ko s language kht n my 56 ako s enabling skill?

I read the answer to your question dto s thread, you can get 20 pts prin daw jn. kc its not the enabling skills ang inaassess, kundi ung apat - LRSW. Ganda nga scores mo. congrats

@dorbsdee Hi! I'll check my pc at home if I still have some of the ones I made while studying. But I would suggest checking ieltsadvantage.com (under Task 2) for examples and complete explanations of every template (slightly different template per type of question). In the end, I chose to use templates from ieltsadvantage (over the ones from e2language) because (1) I wasn't a paid member of e2language so I wasn't able to get the complete template from them (2) ieltsadvantage had very thorough explanations that were easily understandable and easy to grasp. They also had a lot of essay examples - both good and bad - so you'll know what to do and avoid

@jerm_au16 Yes make sure to manage your time sa reading section. Madali kasi talagang maubusan ng oras doon sa kakaisip ng sagot.

Sa arrange paragraph, many of us used Lofoya to practice. I also bought sample tests from tcyonline.com and the good thing sa kanila is they provide explanations as to why the order should be a certain way.

Sa reading, suggestion ko to save time is to read the question and understand what is being asked for before you read the passage. This way you already know what to look for and you can just skim the paragraph for the information that you need.

Re timer: may timer sa lahat ng sections.

ptepractice.com is not working talga since Dec 3 in my experience. Their system is down...sayang binayad ko for mock tests a & b di ko magamit..
