Hi Guys,

Just want to ask.
I took PTE last decembr 28, 2016 but unfortunately,failed po ung speaking ko, 62. The rest was above 65 po ang score.

I retake the exam just this monday june 26 but so sad I pass my speaking and listening but just fail in writing and reading below 65. I have no idea why was that. I am starting to loose hope now. Huhu

May I ask if this score be admissable for bridging program and ANMAC registration?

Please help me guys

@Terrence I am not sure with the bridging program and ANMAC registration. For your writing and reading, I think the computer grades you on how you construct your sentence (writing). If they are coherent and if your paragraphs connect with each other. Hindi din mataas ang writing ko pero laki nung inimprove from the time nagmock test up until nung nanood ako ng mga videos ng E2Language. Meron kasi sila method and tips on how to construct your paragraph and sentences. Sa reading meron din sila mga tips. laking tulong sakin yung mga method ni e2language.

@Terrence hi.. masyado pang maaga to lose hope. ung iba dto, nagtake ng PTE numerous times, hanggang 5th, 7th and some even on the 8th time saka lng naabot ung score n gusto nila. practice, practice and practice lng yan. tama c @rvrecabar , e2language ids are very helpful.
ang mga tanong n dapat mong pag ngilayngilayan:
1. how strong is ur desire para magmove to au?
2. nagawa mo n b lahat ng mkakaya mo for ur AU dream?

Hello guys, im a newbie here. Kamusta? Just took my PTE yesterday for the first time and scores na nakuha ko ay:
L - 82
R - 75
S - 90
W - 78

Patulong naman guys, any tips to improve my reading? i bought 2 mock tests sa pte website before my exam and 71 and 73 score ko sa reading. I really need to get 79 in all bands para maka 20 points ako. would appreciate any help guys

@jerm_au16 thank you, hirap yata i-memorize ng collocations lahat hehe pero i do watch english films and TV series naman kaya nakatulong rin sa Listening and Speaking ko pero i think i need to start reading, tamad kasi ako magbasa eh

@Chad10 Thanks bro. Pero hindi pa superior yun, 77 lang kasi ako sa written part. Dapat maka 79 ako dun para superior. Pero tip lang talaga na masshare ko base sa pagaaral ko, malaki tulong nung E2language para sakin. Madami ako nakuha tips specially sa reorder paragraph and fill in the blanks. Kung hindi ka familiar sa collocations, meron sya tips para sa sentence structure. Sa mga multiple-choice single answer and multipl-choice multiple answers, read mo muna ang paragraph. Kasi kapag binasa mo yung choices before reading the paragraph, mas matatagalan ka kasi magcocompare2 ka pa.

Suggestion ko din, before taking another Mock test, watch the webinars muna ni E2Language. Eto yung link for your reference



Kunin mo yung mga tips, then try to apply it sa mock test mo. Ako kasi nagmock test ako before para malaman ko ano ba feeling magtake ng PTE. Then sobrang bagsak. I think may mga nakuha akong 45, 55 ata. Speaking lang ung mejo amtaas ko, nasa mga 77 ata. Pero still sobrang baba. Then I looked for references sa net and nagbasa ako sa forum, I tried E2 language, maganda ung webinars nya kaya tinry ko and magaling magbigay ng tips. natapos ako nung Sunday lang ng mga 11pm. Yesterday exam ko, hindi na ako nagtake ng another mock test. Kaya I did not have any chance to test mga natutunan ko. Hindi ko na actually natapos ung Reading part dahil naubusan ako ng oras. I think nasa 13 out of 17 ako before ako naubusan ng oras. I thought hindi ako papasa kasi hindi ko natapos sya. But ayun mataas pa pala.

Hello everyone. Just want to give back to this forum as you guys helped me a lot with all the tips and review materials mentioned here.

I took the exam Monday, got the result yesterday.
L - 90
R- 86
S - 84
W - 90

I was surprised nung nakita ko ang result. Hesitant ako sa Speaking, but thankfully nakaabot ako sa 79 above na score. I followed yung template (sort of) na nakalagay dito. I used the intro and the conclusion, sa body I went with my own words nalang para hindi nakakalito.

Sa writing, I used the intro tips of E2 Language para sa essay writing, helpful yun so watch it. Hindi rin naman ako gumamit ng masyadong malalim na words pero swerte at naka-90 pa din.

Also, nag-train ako using the Lofoya Parajumble para sa reorder paragraph. Sa multiple choice, I read the question first but not the answers para alam ko saan part ako magfofocus within the paragraph.

I can't say much about listening, focus lang talaga. If it helps, close your eyes.

Salamat bro @rvrecabar same tayo need ko rin 79 all bands, based sa results ng practice tests ko weakness ko ang fill in the blanks eh tapos sa multiple choice naman pabalik balik ako sa question. I think i need to practice my speed not only in reading but in comprehending what I read hahaha

@Chad10 tama si @rvrecabar , 1. Familiarize yourself with collocations 2. Read the whole sentence surrounding the blank, para makuha mo yung context, saka ka pumili ng word that you think is suitable. 3. Comprehend what you read kasi minsan kahit fitting yung word choice mo for the sentence, when you read the sentences that came before or after it, you will realize na the message may not make sense / opposing yung ideas nila. Ang hirap iexplain. Bottomline is, understand as you read para the whole paragraph makes sense

Okay naman yung results ko, although not superior kasi I only got 74 sa speaking

@MissOZdreamer naku sa totoo lang, hindi n din tlga ko nagexpect ng mataas, base kasi sa experience ko, baba talaga ng nakukuha ko kahit ganun naman ung pagsasalita ko (S64 S58 S66) sa pronunciation talaga ko nadadali, hindi ko n din alam kasi medyo okay naman ung recording ko db? so may something tlga sa pagsasalita ko n hindi nacacatch ng computer nitong 3rd take ko, napataas ko ng bahagya ang oral fluency kaya nahigit. at sobrang grateful ako. thank you ulit! start na ko magayos ng mga documents

@ishtepi clear ang pronunciation mo sa mga words dun sa sample recording. Mejo mabilis lang ng konti pro overall ok nman. Mahirap talaga madetermine kung pano nag ggrade ang computer sa speaking. Hindi kya dahil sa position ng mic? Bka may hangin? At least ngayon passed naman score God bless sa application
