Hi guys! This will be my first time to take PTE.Purchased PTE Gold Kit and tried to take mock exam A awhile ago. As expected, i failed the speaking test! I'm sure it wasn't the mic (actually i didn't use any headset) bec I was really struggling with REPEAT SENTENCE. As in nakakaiyak, dahil para akong may goldfish memory. I'm just blurting out words so parang wala ng sense yung sentence. And i felt so helpless. Although may mga sablay din ako sa describe image - like wala akong conclusion dahil nakulangan ako sa time at kung ano ano sinasabi ko haha!

Any tips on repeat sentence? I tried closing my eyes but to no avail. haha. Nagppractice din ako on youtube and ang hahaba ng sentences (like more than 10 words) kaya nahihirapan pa din ako. So i guess, i have to practice some more to work these brain cells.

Btw, while taking the exam i noticed yung save and exit button. What does it exactly do? I didn't dare click it haha. Is it the same thing as clicking next?

During the mock exam, nagexceed ako sa time, so i noticed nagred lng yung timer ko but it didn't cut me off (although i tried to just go over a minute and then clicked next). Kahit yung essay 2 - hindi ko na natapos ang 3rd body ko and i just finished it off with 1 sentence conclusion dahil nagexceed nko sa time. Sa actual exam ba, totally icut-off ka while mid-typing, may naka-try naba kulangan ng time during essay writing?

Done na with my second exam this morning, reading was so frustrating, had to answer 17 questions in just 35mins..

@Krisian i am aiming for superior... i speaking section is at that same range as well.. fluency is nag iimprove but sa pronunciation is almost same every exam.. looks like di na dedetect ng system ang sinasabi ko ng maayos.

Question lng po mam/sir kunyre po nkkuha k ng proficient ..tas ngtry k ulit exam pra mka superior pero un next exm mu nd mu nkuha superior at bumba un score mu sa competent..

tanong ko po pwde pa po b gmitin ung una mu exm n proficent ka?

@mfvquines yes highest exam mo pa rin ang macoconsider. Yun din naman ang need mo ipasa when you file your EOI

@nicstee Mejo mataas na yung score mo for Mock Exam.

Yes during the exam, macucut ka na lang if nagexpire ang time mo sa essay. Better take note on the time palagi para magauge mo sarili mo if kukulangin ka ba ng time or hindi.

Guys how to check the results? Kakatake ko lang knina' for sure sabit ako sa speaking' nkakaoverwhelm un mga ksbyan ko' hayy..

@rvrecabar ask ko lang sa actual exam, sa start ng exam ba eh dun ang checking ng mic? kasi may mga nababasa ako dito na they are taking their time para di na rin maxadong nakikipagsabayan sa mga katabi. pero how long are you allowed to do that?

@mfvquines actually, yung ilalagay mo sa EOI is yung preferred mong scores so di sya maapektuhan sa lodgement mo sakaling bumaba scores mo sa next PTE exams when trying to get additional points.
