@jewel_34 great question. minsan may mga bagay like this na we tend to overlook and not include during our review and practice - pero very essential to note.
See below explanation. In formal writing such as WFD (or in any other question type in PTE that involves writing - pede natin i apply ang rule na ito)

For general academic writing, you need to write these numbers in words: all numbers under one hundred (e.g. ninety-nine) rounded numbers (e.g. four hundred, two thousand, six million) and ordinal numbers (e.g. third, twenty-fifth). Exceptions: See 3. When to use digits for numbers
Examples
 The country had been at war for twenty-five years. (number under 100)
 Over four hundred soldiers were sent to the war zone. (rounded numbers)
 The thirty-eighth battalion was sent to the war zone for the fourth time. (ordinal numbers)

So in WFD cases for example, write ten minutes instead of 10 minutes. Mas formal kasi in academic writing.

Hi po. Nagtataka po ako, i downloaded kasi yung app na APEUni then maiiscore ka ng AI na built in sa app, I tried it yung read aloud and nagulat ako na ang baba ng score ko. Then yung ibang nagtatry na chinese na nakita ko, kasi pwede niyo po marinig yung ibang nagamit din ng app, ang taas ng score na for me mas okay ang pagsasalita ko. Bat po ganon?

@aspiringpinklover I've tried that app too and 2/5 at 3/5 lang usually ang OF ko, I think it is programmed for chinese accent and some recorded answers were like robots hehe. Practice ka lang po with moderate pacing.

pde din po yung template ni E2 from what @anastasia.salvador shared. Basta po keep in mind na content > than filler or template itself para po makakuha ng magandang score sa Listening.

@vlademyr yep very important ang time management lalo na sa essay writing, mataas na score mo for the 1st mock exam, mine was an ave of 67 3 weeks before, then 77 3 days before the exam for the 2nd mock exam. Was able to get superior since nakapag focus ako sa weaknesses ko which is writing and speaking. During the actual exam manage your time properly para matapos mo lahat ng items, practice lang. Yung e2 language materials ang gamit ko, very effective un strategies nila so nagsubscribe ako ng silver package. Ok din yung free lectures nila.

o @aspiringpinklover - if this is the case then wag ka na mag doubt sa ability mo - try another app and check again.

Kaya I always encourage everyone to only use legit sources para sa mg app and review materials. Wag hayaan na magkaron ng instances na mag doubt kayo sa inyong skills just because the app didnt worked on your favor. May negative impact kasi yan towards your confidence

RL is the most common inquiry I get from you guys - so whether you need this additional info or not - posting here nalang sa forum for everyone’s reference.

Again - ito ay options lang for you. If you feel na using the keyword strategy e works perfectly fine for you e stick with it. Just take whatever is useful from us (we just provide guidance and tips and strategies that worked for us personally and to some na graduate na din sa pte)

Ultimately - ako ang goal ko is to see you achieve your desired score (ma pa proficient or superior man yan)

Sa RL - I use the template for the wordings and structure ng entire response, pero instead of using just the keywords, ang effective na nag ok sakin na strategy is yung mag capture ng complete sentences within the lecture. Tapos saka ko sya I insert sa template and mention it with careful consideration sa coherency. Medyo tricky ito kasi within the 10 seconds prep, dun mo i mark sa notepad mo alin yun sasabihin mo and somehow mabilisan mo din iisipin paano sya masabi without sounding na nagbasa ka lang ng 2 sentences out of nowhere.
This takes time and with enough practice, makakasanayan mo na din.
Common question asked :
When to start writing sentences and when to stop?
- As we don’t know how long the lecture is, let alone the topic (unless nakasama sya sa mga madami mong na ipractice) - you will continue to write approx around 3-4 sentences. You cannot stop at 2, kasi baka yung ika 3rd or 4th sentence ang more relevant, in the same manner na maari din na yung first two sentences pala ang relevant pero since di naten alam ang takbo ng lecture, we will keep on taking down notes.
That being said, important to practice taking notes. I recommend replicating the erasable notepad and marker na, para saktong sakto na talaga ang practice. Mauubusan ka ng space panigurado kaya wag naman sing laki ng pa banner ang sulat

Use intro - insert Topic
Body -
Use 2 relevant sentences na na acquire
Conclusion - use generic conclusion

*Worthwhile to note na kahit gaano ka kagaling na mag English or mag compose ng sentence - you won’t be able to do it within the 40 second time limit, that is why we recommend using pre structured response (such as the template).
Maaring magaling tayo in conversing and contructing our responses ano during meetings, project presentations, conferences with our directors - but none of those limits us to respond within 40 seconds - and that is the struggle na we are trying to overcome sa RL with the use of templates. No time na tayo pairalin ang ating train of thought, no time for impromptu, no allowances given for dead air and stuttering.

@naidetous need to focus for practices on Reading FITB, Reorder at RA pra po makakuha ng magandang points dito. Collocation is important sa part po ng Reading FITB lalo po kung pare parehas yung meaning ng given options. God bless po. Kaya nyo po yan.
