Hi @Supersaiyan @ms_ane and to all fellows that got the superior score. Here I am again hoping na makuha din ang superior. I fell short the last time I have taken the exam (August 2019), now nakaipon na ulit ng pang PTE. Magttry ulit mag exams.

May I ask for your advise again how to get the superior.

Try to make your sentences simple to avoid grammar mistakes. Also try to go back with the basics, past tense, past participle, subject verb agreement. This will improve your grammar.

Try using templates to improve your written discourse.

I just found the answer sa FAQ, 2hrs pala may result na. and 3hrs rin ang exam.

@JHONIEL no worries bro, happy to help. Nagsusukli lang dn ako dahil marami din tumulong sken nuon dito at dito ako naglalabas ng frustation minsan kpg di ko nkukuha target score ko. Anyways, magkikita kita dn tyo sa finals. God bless.

@monlim firstly, try nten i-familiarize lahat ng test types ni PTE, just watch yung E2Languages sessions (though di ko ginamit yung ibang tips at tricks nila dahil may ibang strategies akong ginagamit, pero helpful to). Secondly, more practices lalo sa WFD, kung kaya ng 100 items per day mas maganda, this will improve yung Writing and Listening scores mo dramatically tpos try to hone yung skills sa pag gamit ng collocations. Sa Reading, collocations ang pinaka kalaban lalo pagdating sa RWFITBs plus yung Reorder Paragraphs dapat may approach ka din kung paano ito sagutan with a limited time. Sa Speaking nman ay gamit ka ng template tpos more practices sa mga graphs, tables etc. Tapos makinig ng short discussions /lectures tpos summarized mo sya. This will be helpful para sa SST at RL. Sa SWT nman may pinost ako na strategy na ginagawa ko: http://pinoyau.info/discussion/comment/329106/#Comment_329106 kaya mo yan bro lalo na magka apelyido pla tyo. God bless.

No choice ako @admin since section 3 ang univ. na napasukan ko at ang laki ng binawas sken ni ACS, kelangan ko isagad yung PTE score ko dahil kung hndi sa kangkungan pupulutin ang pangarap o kaya maging pira piraso.

@Supersaiyan same tayo! from SEction 3 rin 10pts lang nakuha ko. so i also neeed to hit 79+ sana makasama ako sa finals! malapit na taning ko sa age. kaya eto todo aral na rin

I see @Admin. Kaya mo yan bro. Kaya mo i-superior yan. Thinking ko dn dati di ko kaya kasi naka 20 takes pa ako (though yung iba sa mga takes na yun minadali ko makuha superior kaya it's my fault din) Kelangan lang ng consistency sa pagpapractice ska sacrifices lalo sa time. Naalala ko dati larong laro na ako ng PS4 pero di ko magawa ksi kelangan mag review sa PTE. Makakaraos yan bro. God bless.

@boogak pag pronunciation, usually sa pag sabi mo ng words. Baka kasi ung P nagging F or B nagging V (common mistake nating Pinoy). Andyan din ung article words such as "the", "a". Sa mga nagpapatulong sa pronunciation, would be best if you guys could upload a sample recording niyo ng RA para assess natin initially.

@boogak practice ka gamit ang speech-to-text. dapat most words, ma-translate ng maayos. tsaka alisin mo yung mga slang or accent mo.

@jaceejoef opo nagpractice po ako sa speechtexter, kaya akala ko po ok na yung pronunciation ko kasi narerecognize po nya boses

@section3kid may effect ba pag sobrang lakas ng boses? Nilakasan ko talaga boses ko e. Mas malakas compared with my 1st take eh mas mataas first take ko. Gaano ka-moderate ang moderate pace? Ganun ba sa model answers ng Kenny and Mcmillan?

Try to watch yung video ni moni magic sa speaking section. Sya inspiration ko sa speaking. Monotone lang, pause sa period and comma and syempre dapat talaga isapuso ang templates.

@cascade yung sa case ko, I tried to enunciate the words clearly. Sa lakas ng boses, di naman ganun ka lakas, pero di rin dapat mahina na parang nag whisper ka lang. I think naka help yung pag test ko sa mic before the exam. As in ang tagal ko talagang matapos mag test ng mic to the point na sinabihan na ako ng proctor na i have to start the exam na!

d ako natuloy mag mock kagabi. narealise ko panget recording pag internal mic ng laptop. bumili muna ako ng mumurahing headphone with mic (stick) and narealised ko rin na marami pa kong hindi narereview sa test format.

pano po magsend po ng sample recording po?

Puwede ka record thru your mobile phone. May recorder app naman yan. Then upload mo na lang ung mp3 file sa google drive or dropbox. Make it public then share the link.

hello po.. napansin ko sa mock test sa pearson dirediretso ang time from speaking up to writing. Ganun ba talaga sa actual exam? ang alam ko kasi may 10 minutes allotment for SWT at 20mins sa WE hindi ba? paano malalaman kung tapos ka na sa task na yun. As well as sa SST, may allotment dn ba sa actual exam na pag natapos mo na ang time mo e magproproceed na sa next task. Kasi sa mock test eh iisa ang timing at combined na for whole listening. Salamat po sa sasagot.
