I took IELTS 4 times then each exam I only have one band 7 and the rest either 6 or 6.5 then my last exam which was April 30 I got 2 band 7 then during sa preparation ko sa 4th take nakita ko ung thread ni @filipinacpa about PTE academic at dun ako nagka interest. I even bought right away the practice gold kit at nag try sa sample tests. I got hook sa PTE Academic. kaya busy ako kakabasa sa thread nato at sa kabilang thread. nag book ako agad nang exam right after ma receive ko ung ielts result ko last May 13. ung review ko pala hindi tuloy2 pero ung pagbabasa sa forum about this exam is 24 hours a day.hehe refresh nang refresh baka may bago.haha
eto na, Nalungkot ako nang bongga nung nag Scored Test A na which i posted my result here. hindi man lang umabot nang 65 at worst ung speaking ko. tapos sabi nang iba na ok na ung macmillan na pagpraktisan at no need nang mock up paid test. yan po ai subjective at nasa sa inyo f hindi kayo confident at ma try ung oacing nang exam dn try mag mock up paid test pero f nasayangan sa pera dn offline praktis nalang po pero mas sayang ang pera if uulit. by the way, hindi ko nagamit ung scored test B ko, ung reason ko is f nag try ulit ako sa isang mock up baka lalo akng ma SAD f sa scored test B ganun pa dn scores ko sa Test A so baka lalong mawawala na ung confident ko. hehe
nag macmillan na po ako at basa2 nang mga tips at ung cheat sheets ni @filipinacpa tapos during lunch nagpapatulong ako sa boss ko na mag praktis sa describe image then while nag practis ni record ko.
eto po actual exam na, puno ung room may na unang tatlong nka upo sa workstations. while hindi pa ako nagsisimula nagsimula na cla. lakas nang mga boses. pagkasimula ko nang speaking wla ako sa focus kasi ma ingay at dapat po pilitin niyong ibalik ung sarili niyo sa exam kasi nahihirapan ako at parang nahihiya baka marinig nila ako tapos sabi ko busy dn cla so dapat i ignore ko dn.
SPEAKING
- focus sa task mo, ignore ung ibang test takers
- spontaneous po at fluent (may isang describe image as in nawala ako)
- soft spoken po pala ako kay na worry ako kaya ayan ung speaking ko muntikan pasang awa.haha
- include sources in your topic f nkalagay sa describe image ung source
- use @filipinacpa cheat sheets
- i click next as soon as i finish recording (natakot ako sa ginawa ko after baka mali un pero sabi nila na ok lang mag next agad)
- may answer in one word na question na hindi ko nasagot kasi hindi ko napansin na answer in one word na pala kasi may picture xa kala ko describe image pa dn (take note mabilis ung transition)
WRITING
- i got 3 summaries and 1 essay
essay is about the world is having multiple problem, what are they and what solutions. parang ganun.
READING and LISTENING
- oras po ung kalaban kay minadalian ko lahat at natapos ako ahead of time kala ko meron pa tapos na pala.
- macmillan ung gamit ko sa praktis at parating mga 40 something lang ung scores ko out of 70 items na answers. ( ganun ung pag scores ko kung ilang ang answers)
9am ung exam ko natapos ako 11:19am po.

i think @admin should be changing the IELTS folder to English Language Test folder just to be fair to other tests which are also acceptable for the visas!

good luck din po sa exam mo bsta follow lang po ung mga tips at huwag po mag panic kasi may instance na nagpanic ako tapos may instance dn na nag wander ung utak ko while nagbabasa nang mga story scenarios parang nag trance lang.
monitor po palagi nang oras during exam.
