Hi Guys,

For IED nyo po, magkano po ang range ng pocket money nyo to aussie?

Also for those who came from Singapore,
did you guys withdrew your SG PR before going to Australia or hold on to PR muna?

The rule of the thumb in moving here is bring everything you can

Anyway ... when we went here for an IED ( from PH ) i think we bought 4k$ .. that was June 2007 .. ako lang ang muna ang nag stay for 8 months

after a month, pero 1 month and a half lang yung work ko then tambay for 2 months , tapos got a contractual hanggang nakadating mag ina ko

subscribing to this thread. we are planning our initial entry within the year na din. ang dilemma namin is yun date..we are planning to move by Dec kase (after Christmas) pero we are hearing na matumal daw ang job postings ng Nov - Jan.

ano ba ang mga initial expenses na need namin bayaran pag dating? like sa rent..plan namin maki house sharing muna ala-SG isang room kami (2 babae naman kami)..madali ba makahanap sa Sydney ng house sharing (room for rent) na mga pinoy din kasama? ano yun usually need bayaran (deposit, advance)? saka ano yun mga kasunduan like may contract ba na need mag stay dun for x amount of months...etc. TIA
