    Thru online naman na magsubmit ng CV sa kanila pero pagdating sa job interview mo, magdala ka ng CV mo din para habang nirereview nila yung experience mo at nagtatanong sila, e nakakasabay ka sa kung anong project ba yun by looking on your own copy.

    guys my bago pala ngaung announcement ang australian embassy pwede ng marequest magpavisa label pero may payment na ng AUD 70. ang mahal!!!

    napapaisip tuloy ako if magpavisa label kasi kahapon sa seminar may ngsabi na isang participant na sabi daw ng sister nya na nsa oz ung ibang employer daw sa oz ayaw daw tanggapin ung visa grant letter lang hinhanap pa din ang visa label.

    my nakaexperience na ba dito na hinananapan ng visa label??. thanks!!!

    Why is there a charge for visa labels?
    The Department of Immigration and Citizenship continues to be a leader in providing services to its clientsonline. As a result, more and more of the department’s services no longer involve the physical exchange ofpaper forms, letters or visa labels.Visa labels in particular, have not been required in Australia for some time. Labels are no longer routinelyprinted and physically placed in passports. Instead, online checking provides more timely and secure information as to the entitlements of a visa holder. The charge for a visa label has been introduced to recover the costs of this discretionary service.
    If my application for a visa was lodged and a visa was granted before 24 November 2012, but I request to have a label after 24 November 2012, will there be a charge?
    Yes. The charge for a visa label will be payable for every request for a visa label issued after 24 November 2012, regardless of when the application was lodged or visa granted.

    How much will a label cost?
    The cost of a visa label is AUD70.

    Do I need to pay for a label for each member of my family??
    Yes. There is a charge for each visa label requested.

    From 24 November 2012, if travellers still need or request a label they will need to pay a fee for it. This cost for a visa label is called the Visa Evidence Charge (VEC). Travellers can only request and pay for a visa label if they have a current Australian visa. Regardless of when a visa application was lodged, or a visa granted, anyone who requests a visa label after 24 November 2012 will be charged.

    (2) I made the request before they began charging A$70 for the visa label... :)

    That is rubbish to be honest... These companies are probably not worth it if they are in fact not knowledgeable on what currently is the practice of DIAC. Nonetheless, the visa grant is there to prove your 189/190 visa. If with further doubts, VEVO is accessible to anyone. :)

    @annie23 sydney is very expensive to shop clothes for. it's like this joke i tell my husband everytime we go to a westfield mall here.. sa level 1-2 lang ako pwdi maka punta kasi level 3-4 di ko na ma afford.. t-shirt that's cost above 50 aud! WTF! hahahaha!!
    kasi sa level 1-2.. may mga brands parang pang teens pa so not as pricey but still at 20 aud for a shirt.. if walang sale still kinda' expensive:)

    2. Bring your passport and visa grant notice.
    3. Go to VIA in Allegro Center Pasong Tamo extension Makati with a manager's cheque amounting to P3200 payable to Australian Embassy. They don't accept cash or credit card contrary to what was mentioned in the form.
    4. Pay 300 processing fee. Buy 5 pesos envelope, available in their reception.
    5. They'll have your passport delivered to you in 3 working days.

    the employers can access it online.for free... we can access it online too for free and print it.
    go to the DIAC website.. under check visa status.. ul need ur transaction reference number and passport number and bday.. type those in.. instant verification.

    for sure they (DIAC) have some reasons why they are having the visa-label again..
    i guess marami nga nag complain or nag request...

    DIAC is discouraging it , because it is additional work for them..
    that's why they put the application/processing fee..

    This is not mandatory... so we have a choice... if we want to spend that 70aud.
    ;)

    tinawag ko kasi sa embassy hotline and tinuro nila si VIA. processed my application last Thur and got my visa today. Sulit ang bayad kasi 1 whole page ng passport yung visa sticker not unlike before na maliit daw. :)
