I got a state sponsorship in Victoria. I got an invitation to apply for sub class 190 (permanent) visa and my agency already lodged my visa application last Feb 23, 2015. All documents have also been loaded, medicals done, NBI, etc. Basically we're just waiting for CO assignment and for them to review my application.
The problem now is that my company needs me to travel to Sydney this June 1-15, 2015 (dates are fixed) for a business trip related to a project and they will apply me a sub class 400 (temporary) visa. According to my agency, they won't recommend it as it's now the critical moment where they expect a CO will be assigned and my application will be reviewed. What will happen according to my agency is that if 190 (permanent) gets approved and then 400 (temporary) also gets approved then the latest 400 will be my actual visa and the 190 will be cancelled.
I would like to get a second opinion on this and if there's still a way for me to travel on that business trip. Thank you.

You as an applicant cannot ask DIBP to not give visa 400 into effect (once you are already in visa 190).
Given the timeline when you lodge your visa 190, you should be expecting a decision anytime soon especially the fiscal year is almost over.

Pero ingat ka rin ha, kasi once mag initial entry ka for Visa 190, kelangan mo iadvice yung state sponsor mo.
Walang complications if your business trip is in the same state. if in different state, i think that should be ok but dont forget to contact your sponsor first.
