Dependant /Household

YnnaYnna DubaiPosts: 11Member
I am a single parent and a OFW. I have applied for a 496 visa and lately my papers being process. My son is now 24 years old and lives at our house/residence in Pinas. Now I got a decision letter from my CO saying his visa is refused since " is not usually resident in the family head's household" I believe my "household" is in Pinas since it is my own? and that the accommodation i have here in Dubai is temporary.

Is there anyone who have experience this situation, or someone who can advise me of a my next action.

Appreciate it very much. God bless.

@Ynna - i think Kailangna nyo pa i-prove na dependant nyo sya..na nakatira sya sa inyo or kasama nyo sya.. At financially dependent pa sya sa inyo..

Submit more documents, or check kung may form na kailangan isubmit..

    Just a suggestion..

thank u for ur suggestion lock_code2004.

i provided form 47a inc supporting docs of house in phil under my name, bnk statement showing transfer, etc.
what CO seems to imply since he is Cavite, n me in Dubai, he is not living in my 'household'

Isnt it as head of a family/unit though working overseas, a household means a unit/property/home that is yours/permanent residence?

    appreciate any comments.

@Ynna In my case, Nasa Thailand ako and my dependents are living in my house sa pinas..what i provided are TCT, payment ng mortgage, bank details of money transfer(monthly, walang paltos) tapos what they provided are receipts of school fees, receipts of utilities, cedula and all other docs na may address na don nga sila nakatira...and approved naman by CO....siguro nga kulang ang docs na binigay mo..past 12 months lang naman tinitignan..binigay ko rin employment contract to prove na talagang temporary lang ako overseas...unless nakaindicate don sa letter na pwede mag-appeal, you can contact tribunal pero pag wala malabo na mabago ang decision once it is finalised.
