Under Claiming Work Experience on EOI

edited June 2015 in Working and skilled visas
Hello everyone!

Magssubmit po ako ng EOI with these points: Age-30, English-20 and Education- 15. Total 65 points.

Given that my overall score is above 60, I decided not claim points for my work experience (external audit). Is it ok/right not to provide info on work experience part? Or provide the information, then click 'No' so the system will not consider any points from my work experience. By the way, i have 3+ years experience.

Or it might affect my application in some way or another?

Is there someone here with the same case?

Please enlighten me! Haha! Thank you very much! God bless us all! :)

You need to provide all your work experience for the last ten years. Kung ayaw mo magclaim lagay mo no. Pero dont leave it as blank? This is for skilled migration, sisilipin nila yan... ano na result ng assessment mo?

@J_Oz mgppa-assess palang ako.. Ang balak ko is purely education lang, no work experience, since I'm not interested sa pagclaim ng points.

My nagsabi na pede nmn positive educ. assessment kaht walang work, since magkaiba nmn sila ng assessment's point of view (educ-if comparable sa Oz at work if aligned sa nominated).

Ang naisip ko lang is, sige i will input my work experience (auditor ang nominated ko, at ung past ko is audit at ung present ko is likely (di ko sure tlga) related nmn sa external audit), pero 'No' nlng ang ssgot ko para hindi na mcomputan ngpoints..

@TasBurrfoot thanks po! Pero as i've said, ok lng po to disclose ang work experience kht di kasama sa assessment at 'No' nlng ang sagot para walang credit?

I'm making things complicated.. Hahaha.. Sensya na po. :)

@cpa_oct2011 magpapaasses ka pa lang pala...i was implemented earlier this year(if im not mistaken) that all assessing bodies will now require minimum no. Of years experience to be deemed skilled in their nominated occupation..this was implemented by ACS long time ago kaya yong mga ACS assessed applicants cannot fully claim the total no. of years of their skilled employemnt kasi ACS dictates when sila naging skilled(considering yong required min. years experience)...tama ba @J_Oz?

@J_Oz yon nga sabi ko sa kanya..if ako ang tanungin, even umabot oa ng 100 yong score ko by declaring my work experience, im sure na maiinvite agad ako...based in his/her previous comment, di sya sure kung related yong current work experience nya don sa nominated skill nya...i think that's the reason kaya ayaw nya ilagay baka yon pa maging reason na di maging positive result ng assessment..@cpa_oct2011

@J_Oz at @fgs thanks. Hehe.. In our case kasi, the assessing bodies (ICAA, CPAA and IPA) do not require a minimum years of experience (subject to verification ng mga ngpa-assess na.. Hehe)

Assessment of education and work are different.. You can have either or both.. So samin its possible to have our education assessed only without the need of work experience..

So pwede ganito ang resulta- positive education assessment only OR positive education and years of skilled employment as determined by the body.

@cpa_oct2011 i was trying to find yong info na lahat na ng assessing bodies will follow what ACS is doing...kung di pa rin for CPAA then its good...but i think when you submit your visa application, you still need to provide your work experience for the past 10 years and will just choose NOT relevant sa nominated occupation..in my case nilagay ko na NOt relevant yong 3 years but yong 7 years prior to application is relevant...no question kung makakakuha ka ng positive skills assessment by not providing details of your work experience sa assessing body...ang doubt ko lang is when a CO assess your application tapos wala ka ilalagay na work experience, magtatanong na ngayon yan paano ka pa naging skilled eh wala ka work experience declared...just saying :-)

@cpa_oct2011 anong subclass ang pwede dun? Hindi ba parang di naman pasok yun sa subclass 189 since you need a positive skills assessment to apply for 189... anyway hindi ko alam ang rules ng sa cpa etc... so mas maigi siguro yong ibang under ng same occupation ang magbigay ng advice.

Baka sakali pong makatulong. Eto po ung sabi sa CPAA:

What is a migration skills assessment and why do I need one?

For certain skilled migration visas you will need to provide evidence that your skills have been assessed as suitable for your nominated occupation by the relevant assessing authority.

CPA Australia can assess your overseas or Australian education, English proficiency and, in some cases, your work history, to determine if you meet a set of predetermined criteria required for your chosen occupation.

As well as a full skills assessment that can be used in your application for an Employer sponsored visa or Points tested (SkillSelect) visa, CPA Australia also issues a provisional skills assessment for recent graduates of Australian education institutions who are applying for the Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485). We also provide skilled employment assessments.

    ANZSCO Code: 233611

    13-11-14 186 Visa Approved

@J_Oz CPAA can give you positive skills assessment by only looking kung nacomply/studied mo yong required core knowledge areas...unlike you ther assessing bodies, so pwede syang di magdeclare ng work experience

@fgs @J_Oz ang naisip ko gawin is to declare my work experience sa EOI and select 'No' since I won't be claiming any points for it inspite na related mga experiences ko..

@cpa_oct2011 Sa experience po namin pinassess namin ang education and work experience sa CPAA dahil po the higher the points the faster na mainvite. Advantage din po Bro sa mga magEOI starting July 1 new Fiscal Year (2015-2016) mataas ang points dahil once a month nalang po ang magiging invitation rounds unlike before na twice a month. Cheers mate! :)

    Good luck.
