@mariem Thanks sa reply. Naguguluhan pa rin ako, where should I submit form 815? I tried to check my immiAccount and emedical but there's no button or link or portion there where I can attach the form 815. I do not know now on where should I submit this form 815. Pls help me. Thanks in advance!

Hi all. I hope someone can answer my question or had the same situation before. Negative sputum culture ng daughter ko after 2 months of waiting. She had a repeat xray last week but the problem is hindi sya binigyan ng clearance dahil nagimprove ang xray nya. According sa pulmo, nabawasan ang pagka blurred ng xray. Dapat daw ay same pa rin. Recommendation nila ay repeat xray after 3 months or wait for immi sa sasabihin nila. We are so anxious right now, it's gonna be another 3 months pag nagkataon. It would take the clinic 2 weeks to make a report pa and submit to immigration. Did anyone have the same situation like ours? Salamat po

How old na yung daughter mo? Is she on medication now? I suggest ipa IGRA test mo para sure yung finding sa kanya. Meron nyan sa Kidney institute sa Quezon City.

from what i understand, if its latent, means its not active TB but its there.
Normally the doc will inform you if you need take ng medicine for 6 months kasi baka hanapin ng AU.
Wala ba nasabi yung Doc noon ng pa check up ka?

Hi Guys, i was refererd to Tan Tock seng for sputum test and xray. Pinag start n akagad ako ng medication kahit wala pang sputum and mantoux test. Hopefully mag negative ako sa TB. Anyone have same experience? Positivr or Negative? Mejo kinakabahan a talaga ako.

wala pang result sa sputum & xray? normally they will ask you to take medication if there is possibility lang.
they will check if nag-rereact ba yung gamot sayo then they will further advice on the next course of action.

Dito rin ba kayo sa SG? Hay yung 8 weeks pa darating sputum results. ANg tagal

Sharing our experience. My wife took her mantoux test, sputum smear and culture last november 2018. Mantoux result was positive. smear result was negative. Sputum culture after 8 weeks was negative (released February). Treatment started december 2018 and completed june 2019.
Additional sputum smear and culture requested by bupa kc nagtreatment. Sputum smear and culture all negative (completed September 2019).

We lodged our visa 189 december 2018. Got our contact last March 2019. Health examination no further action September 2019. Still Pending visa grant.

Hi @corrappyka_CE right now nka dalawang sputum test nako. Bukas na pang last. Wala akong ubo at sakit or kahit na anung nararamdaman. Kaya nakakagulat na positive Mantoux ko. Huhu may chance ba na mapositive smear ko kahit wala akong ubo or lagnat or nararamdamab man lang??

Mine was back 2017 b4 lodging visa application, we were asked to go for check up because our housemate was positive TB will all the coughing for months and such.
Basically, wala din ako nararandaman, I dont smoke but it was the xray that they saw na may small lamat daw. So further check and I was asked to go for CT Scan. Long story short, all negative yung results ko and wala akong ubo and also sakit but because of the small thing na nakita nila sa lungs, they asked me to go through medication and complete it for 6 months(cant go back to Pinas or go overseas).

Actually,naginitiate lng akong mag IGRA kasi my BF told me na need then it came out positive. My pulmo dr told me to start the treatment na so I started na right away. The treatment only last for 4 mos. So it'll end before I leave the Philippines to start my bridging. Thank you for your reply! I was just anxious kasi it'll be a reason for them to reject my visa application.

Im applying my tourist visa for my bridging program. I was told that I have latent TB. So my question is what should I tick from this options if my TB isn't active and I wasn't exposed to any family member who has tuberculosis as well. I was also told to take TB medications so I did. Please help me out. Thanks!

its a bit tricky, kasi the officer will asked you why you tick "NO" even if you are taking medication.
latent TB is still a TB, for me i will tick "YES".
it shouldnt be a problem as long as you have completed your medication and you can present a certificate given by the doctor. cheers!

@g_pr0530 IMO answer should be “YES” kc sa 3rd criteria nadetermine ung latent tb. Nothing to worry about here as long as you provide the panel physician with the records that you have undergone medication/treatment already.

@corrappyka_CE hello sir.. almost same pala tayo ng nangyari sa dependent natin. Ang husband ko naman po hindi na pinagmeds. Bale april 2019 pa namin inaasikaso ang xray nya. Ngayong sept 2019 lang naayos at nabigyan ng health clearance. Nakalagay na sa health assessment nya "health clearance provided. no action required." Til now din po walang CO contact. Huhuhu..

@Peregrine when po kayo naglodge and what visa type po? Ung sa wife ko naman po pinagmeds siya for 6months although negative naman sa sputum smear and culture. September lang din namin naclear ung health exam nya. So still waiting din po kme. Problem is, inabot naman ng expiration ung sa akin kaya we’re expecting another co contact pa.

Well the medication treatment will be complete on Feb 8 2020. Kasi latent TB lang sya so 4 months ang medications unlike pag active which is 6 months. My bridging course will start on Feb 17,2020. Do you think they will clear me po? Thanks

@Peregrine last december 2018 po kme naglodge, CO contact last March 2019. Same po pala tayo ng case. Best scenario would be magrant without needing to repeat our medical. Pero kung magrepeat man, sana mabilis na lang turn around ng review once matapos ung repeat exam.
