Hi Beaj, ask ko lang about streamlined visa processing. May nabasa kasi ako dito: http://migrationblog.immi.gov.au/2012/03/29/further-knight-review-changes-to-the-student-visa-program/ na yung 42 partner universities lang ang pwede. Colleges lang din sana ako mag enroll para medyo mura lang ang tuition. 2 years course. Have you availed of the streamlined visa process?

In your example above, a student enrolled in Bachelor degree at MIT would not be eligible for streamlined visa processing arrangements because MIT is not a university. @knight Not really sure ha. Pero from what I understand from all the things that I've read and from what you posted, is that the streamlined visa processing is DIAC's decision given that your school is among the list of universities and business partners that are eligible BUT under these conditions: your course in the college should be a prerequisite course leading to a degree,grad. diploma, grad. cert. in a University. Tapos dapat you have written proof that you are indeed continuing your studies in a Uni.

So technically nga, parang hindi din eligible yun business partners for streamlined visa processing. That means, ako din! hahahah

Pero, yun nga as long as you submit all the necessary documents and you provide evidence na you can support yourself whilst studying there, I think everything will go well.

Wait, my iaadd ako. I'm not an expert on this, pero feeling ko eligible yun Tim since bachelor's degree siya. Pero yun nga, in the end kasi, you still have to go through the whole application i.e. submit the necessary documents to support your application. So regardless, if whether you know na which assessment level you are in, you still have to do the same thing as what others are doing.

Hmmm.. Siguro. Kasi technically, kapag from Philippines, tapos VET course i.e. 572 subclass kukunin mo, Assessment level 3 ka. Level 1 yung pinakamataas.

hello po. Nagapply din ako ng student visa naglodge me nung may 4 nareceive ng embassy nung may 7 tpoz medical nung may 24 napadala sa ehealth ng june 25 grabe ang tagal although sa september pa ang start ng class ko naka2loka pala tlaga ung naghi2ntay.ask ko lng anong assessment level b ung english course at bachelors degree? Kc ang ung course ko is english for 12 weeks duration then sa feb pa start ng bachelors degree ko.hayy.exact 8 weeks b tlag or umaabot ng 12 weeks bago dumating?tnx

Im not sure kung policy pa din but Just a friendly reminder, kung iaapply mo un teaching sa PR mo in the future, kelangan job mo sya in the last 24 months on the time na iapply un PR otherwise d mo ito pedeng gamiting nominated skill sa PR mo. since 2 yrs course mo, out of work ka nun sa teaching ng 24 months unless kukuha ka ng part time na nasa field of teaching din para magamit sa PR.

Nag email and tumawag ang reason nila is naka leave dw po yung incharge sa pagsagot ng emails... Sbrang pangit ng service nila nagmamadali naman ako kasi ang start ko is sa 19 na and wla pa akong kahit ano gamit or ticket man lang

Reply to @Kristalsydney: ay!... kaloka naman yung sagot na yun... parang nung pumunta yung mga doctors nila sa sg for a conference ata yun a few weeks ago, kaya daw hindi pa sila nakakapag-upload sa e-health kasi wala lahat sila (parang mga doctors naman ang nag-uupload ng files, for sure hindi)...
