Job Description

Position Summary:

• The role is for an NMC (Network Management Centre) Analyst within company's RMS environment based in Macquarie Park supporting the Customer Accounts.
• This is a shift role position working on a 24x7 rotating shift roster. The ideal candidate will have all the requirement skills listed within the qualification section of this document.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience required - Overall less than 6 years with minimum 2 years experience in NOC environment.
• Ability to use multiple Incident Management Systems.
• Must be able to work shift-work.
• Have thorough knowledge of Network - LAN/WAN and Performance Management Tools and Systems.
• Minimum Cisco CCNA Qualified.
• Ability to work under pressure for extended periods of time.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable team player.
• Work over-time as and when the need may arise.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Telco and Vendor management
• ITIL Certification
• Other Network or IT Platform Certifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Work a 24/7 rotating Shift Role. (2 x 12 hour day shifts, 2 x 12 hour night shifts, 4 days rostered off).
• Monitoring, Tier 1 and 2 Network Support for Client's Australia and New Zealand customer Networks.
• Liaison with Maintenance Vendors, Telco’s, MNS Network and Support Engineers and other Customer Product Lines to resolve problems.

Environment:
• Located at client’s Head Office in Sydney, we run a modern Network Management Centre, operating on a 24x7 basis.
