Hello all. Congrats sa mga nkatanggap ng good news! Big thanks to all those with big hearts who have been always ready to share their knowledge/idea/experience.
Right now, I am applying for SA SS. A little confused with these:
1. In the EOI, it indicated on the Employment History part: Provide details of the client's employment history for the last 10 years. In my ACS result, I have experiences in more than 10 yrs in the past, so even though nkaStipulate yun lahat, I didn't include those exp in the past 11 yrs and onwards. Tama kaya yun?
2. I have initially submitted my EOI last June, pero nag-edit ako 4 times today kasi yung pagka-sunod2x ng employment experience ko, gi-encode ko kasi una yung Related&Skilled na as indicated in my assessment result, then last na yung mga hindi related. Today I realized, parang dapat by-date ang pgkaArrange, so yung experience ko nung 2007 yung inuna ko then last na yung most recent. Ok lng kaya na 4 times ko giEdit, na-confused talaga ako, medyo tensed na rin.
3. Now that I am doing the online SS nomination application on Immigration SA website, may employment details na naman. Ang required sa occupation ko (ICT Trainer) ay at least one year work experience lang as specified sa SA website, do I need to encode all details as what I did in my EOI?

@Hunter_08 nakita ko na. dapat pala nasa state nominated occupation list ka. nasa supplementary occupation list ang occupation ko at need na 80 points.

Guys question sa visa 489. Di ba temporary visa lang ito tas you need to stay sa state for 2 yrs. Then pede na apply ng PR which is 887. Pag nag process ng citizenship san mag start ung count? Dun sa time na 887 ka na or sa 489?

@AIR oo ok lang naman mag edit as long as tama ang na indicate sa EOI mo. at yes sa SS nomination application mostly yung mga questions dun ay same sa EOI so same answer lang din ilalagay mo.

@Hunter_08 okay offshore po pla, may hinanapan na po ba dito sa thread natin ng financial requirements during visa processing? Ang nabasa ko lang po sa wesite is.

"You need to have combined cash and assets within the range listed in the table below. As a guideline, when you arrive in South Australia, Immigration SA recommends that offshore applicants have $20,000 in cash and onshore applicants have $5,000 in cash for settlement. You should not dispose of any assets before the visa is granted."

@HunterO86 Thanks for ur quick response. So ok lng yung EOI ko na di ko na ininclude yung past 11 yrs onwards (kahit may mga previous experiences pa ako in the past)? Copy, same info in the EOI shall be reflected in SS.

@AIR much better na ilagay mo yun kung relevant experience yun. maski hindi kasama sa claim mo yun.. at least makita nila kung gaano ka intense yng experience mo sa occupation mo.

@batman not sure why 80 points pero kc ung occupation sa supplementary skills list ay not necessarily in demand so baka they want to ensure na high ung score work experience, english etc to compete with the market. Not sure just my opinion

@coachella9 you need to create a new EOI and you need to select South Australia as preferred state then once you have the EOI number, you need to go to South Australia state migration website and lodge you SS application thru their system.

@MissOZdreamer Yes, 489 is a temporary visa. You can convert it tot 887 (PR) once you satisfy the 2 yr stay and at least 1 yr full time job sa regional area.

The citizenship rules have changed last april 19, you need to be a PR for at least 4 yrs before you can apply for citizenship.

But guys, i would suggest that you do it once step at a time. Get an approved visa first, move to oz, settle, then other things will come into play.

@coachella9 usually assets etc is just self declaration. They may or may not ask you to provide evidence so be on the safe side just in case

Hi guys,

Comment ko lang dun sa mga nagbabalak sa SA SS or dun sa mga nagdadalawang isip for SA SS or dun sa nagco-comment na walang jobs or boring ang SA. Know what you want and your priorities.

Priority nyo ba na makapunta ng oz agad? If yes then maybe you need to consider options that will bring you here quicker. I have witnessed how immigration changed all of these visa and skills list the past 10 yrs and they don't care about how many applicants are affected, they will change it whenever they want to do it. So the key here is secure your visa the soonest possible time. SA opened its doors to migrants so let's maximise that opportunity if we can. Immigration is making it harder and harder to come here.

If fussy kayo at preferred nyo to have live or stay sa post code that starts with 2, 3 and 7 then be ready and patient to wait until you get invited for SS.

SA may not be as big as Sydney or Melbourne but you are still in Australia if you know what I mean.

Bigger states like NSW, VIC and QLD most likely have long queues for SS and very competitive with in terms of points coz most people would like to live in bigger cities

@Au_Vic I agree sa mga sinabi mo, on point. It is really getting harder, rules are getting stricter especially for frontrunner regions. Yes, Adelaide is still Au whatever happens the important thing is for anybody to find a way to settle legally. Mag kakatalo na tlaga sa sipag at diskarte pag nandyan na sa malaking kontinente na yan hehe. If the person has the grit to succeed, kakayanin niya lahat ng challenges, anywhere. Pag gusto gawan ng paraan, pag ayaw may dahilan.

@Au_Vic need ur help po. Ok lang ba inde ko ideclare sa eoi ung current company ko? Naka 6 yrs na namn ako sa previous companies so pasok n ko dun sa 10 pts hehe. Ayoko sana manghingi coe sa current pra di nla malaman ung AU plans ko. Pahirapan kc hingi ng coe samin. Or mas ok ba ideclare ko pa rin pero wala nalang ako ibigay na coe? TIA

@Hunter_08 , sayang di ko na-include yung experience more than 10 yrs in the past, di ko na rin kasi ininclude sa EOI ko, naSubmit ko na both EOI and SS application. Pati yung part-time job ko na not related/not suitable sa ACS result pero pasok in the last 10 yrs, nilagay ko sa EOI (kasi nga in the last 10 yrs), pero sa SS nomination application di ko na nilagay. Anyway, I hope I will still receive an invitation.
