@StarJhan Thank you so much for your reply..,oo nga e, we will try to contact our CO, pero pwede ba makausap ang case officer over phone? Last time kasi na tumawag kami around April, parang operator lang ang sumagot and ni-list down lang nya ang mga guato namin sabihin. Would you know the number or direct line to contact them?

@Kale_2016 Most welcome. Pwede mo ulit try tawagan sila kahit operator pa ang sumagot ang mahalaga ma clarify mo yung issue ninyo at ma take note nila para makarating sa CO ninyo. And also, i think it will also help to send them an email at i-clarify ninyo sa email lahat ng gusto ninyong sabihin about your case. i-bullets mo ang mga issues ninyo one by one para madali nila maintindihan.

For now, I'm not sure about any direct contact numbers nila but maybe other forumers can help you.

@Kale_2016 nagwork husband mo sa Singapore for less than 6months? if yes, then meron sya FIN or work permit for that job? sensysa na for asking inde ko kc alam background.

@Kale_2016 kc kung nakapawork tlga sya sa SG, then dpat meron work permit. though that is ages ago, FIN is unique per worker in SG. iapply mo na ang appeal online for SG PCC, attaching necessary requirements like passport and acknowledgment letter of Visa application to AU. There's an outcome 2-3days, only then you may proceed to PCC application, all in can take a week to process.

@don_andres offshore kasi nagwork kaya walang pass or permit. @Kale_2016 try mo email ulit DIBP tapos attached mo yung mga emails nila about waiving the requirement for SG at HK PCC baka maalala nila.

What if I have been working on a ship?

If you have spent a cumulative total of 12 months or more in the last 10 years working for the same employer on a merchant ship, cruise ship, private yacht or oil rig, you should request a police certificate from the relevant authority in the country under whose flag the ship sails, or country of ownership of the rig.
You will also need to provide a letter or statement of good conduct from the ship’s captain or company attesting to your character. The letter should include the vessel’s name, the job you had while on the ship or rig and the start and finish dates of employment.

Nabasa ko na 6 months lang c husband mo sa SG? if that's the case, hindi kelangan ng SG Clearance. Make sure lang na 6 months lang talaga sya nag work kasi hihingan talaga kayo ng clearance if naka accumulate kayo ng 12 months sa barko.

Sa HK, ilang months sya?

tama sila sa taas, better speak with CO by phone and explain your case.. if 6 months lng no need for police clearance, also, i read somewhere here na CO asked for cert of good conduct from employer in lieu of police clearance.

@StarJhan: thank you...nakatawag na kami sa hotline kahapon, but then again parang di naman nila iniintindi yung sinabi namin about securing PCC from HK and Singapore. Kahit sinabi na nila before na wag ng kunin yun ang pansinin daw namin kung ano yung latest na hinihingi ng case officer.

but yes we will try to email again today explaining our side.. Baka maalala nila..

@don_andres thank you for your reply.. My husband did not work at all in Singapore, he was just employed by a Singaporean based company. He was not given a work permit kasi diretso naman na siya sa boat going to various locations. Kaya wala syang FIN/NRIC hence di rin kami makapagapply ng appeal online. We emailed the supervisor sa CID, kasi ang natatandaan ko nagpasa na kami ng appeal before kasi requirement yun for non-singaporean aside from the rest of the requirements for coc application. Pinadala lang namin by post ngayon lahat online na kaya di kami makapasok without fin.

@engineer20 thanks sir. Yan nga plano namin na magemail ult sa kanila isasama namin yung previous email ng case officer na sinasabi na hindi na kelangan ng pcc for singapore.. Di ko talaga alam bakit parang di na nila binabasa yung thread ng mga emails. Priblem kasi pag may request thru email lang, naiwan yung kauna unahan nilang request na naka pdf format na nasa immi account. Yung iba kasing intructions thru email lang kaya baka di nila pinansin yung sinabi samin ng previous case officers.

@rich88 thank you for your email and concern..Yes yan tinignan namin nung nagpasa kami ng application nung feb. eventhough my husband works on a boat he has not spend 12 months or more sa iisang bansa nagpasa pa nga kami ng excel sheet to show para baka kasi sabihin nila need not cumulative, kaso wala talaga 12 months sa kahit saang bansa kaya di kami nagpasa ng pcc sa other countries. However, last May nagrequest ang isang case officer ng pcc sa country of the flag ng lahat ng naging boats na naassign ang husband ko. Kasi daw at first di nila madetermine kung san talga nagwork kasi prior to that weve been sending emails na never nagwork ang husband ko sa singapore kaya refused ang pcc application. Pinaupdate ang form 80 ng husband ko then tska nila sinabi na yung sa boat daw ang ibigay namin. Hence, di na namin tinuloy pa ang appliction for hk since wala syang boat na registered dun.
Unfortunately, parang nakalimutan na nila yung requests nila about dun which took us 3 months to secure. Ang hinahanap lang nila yung pending nung unang una nilang request which was sg and hk.

@Captain_A : we also provided certificate of good conduct sa kanila, dahil alam naming wala namang 12 months husband ko sa mga boats except for the one in france which nakakuha namn kami good conduct and pcc from france.

Question: hindi kaya ma bad shot kami sa case officer if we insist again about the reason why we did not pursue singapore and hk? yung sa sg, waiting kami sa reply ng cid kasi di yata nila matandaan na nagpasa na kami ng application with appeal na rin at nakatanggap na rin kami ng corresponce. Ang kelangan daw kasi nila refusal notification for them to issue a waiver. Yun ang tinatanong namin sa cid if yung natanggap namin from them thru registered mail is already the refusal notification kasi binalik din nila bank draft/check payment namin e.

Yung sa hk tinuloy na namin ult application kaso waitig pa kamis a bank draft kasi last time nanghingi kami kaso di namain pinadala sa hk kasi wala naman kami request letter from them at nagbago nga ng instructions. So we will start all over again.

Ang hirap lang kasi we have devoted so much on this, time money effort tapos wala pa rin namang kasiguraduhan if grant or not. I know its a risk and we are willing to take, pero sana lang may makita naman kaming konting chance, at least basahin man lang nila mga emails namin.. Haaay.

@Kale_2016 Hindi naman siguro maba-badshot. Valid naman yung argument mo na sinabi na ng previous CO mo na hindi mo kelangan ng clearance sa SG at HK. I-provide mo na lang ulit yung email ng previous CO tapos yung COE from those ships as proof na hindi talaga lumampas ng 12 months. God Bless.. baka naguluhan lang yung pangalawang CO.

If ever ba ang mga attachments sa email nakakapasok talaga? Worried kasi ako baka yung mga files uploaded to immi account lang ang nakikita nila but not those attached in the email. May mga instances kasi like yung email namin sa case officer saying na weve already certain docs sa immi account sinend ko ulit sa email para makita nila as proof.

Also, what could be done if in case na exhaust na lahat ng pages sa immi account for the main applicant?

Hi everyone!

Good news! We received the most precious email. Visa granted! Yahooooo! It came as a surprise because we are still processing our PCC for singapore and hong kong. We just gave them an update yesterday by mail na wala parin pcc, on process parin and earlier today we received the grant.
Although, as Ive mentioned before yung singapore and hk di naman na talaga hinihingi before. Kaya siguro di na nila hinintay pa.

God is good! Thank you sa lahat ng tumulong at sa forum na to. You were all instrumental sa grant namin.

By the way, pano ba malalaman ang next steps? May difference ba sa mga visa grants? If direct grant, nakalagay ba dapat yun,

By the way, nagpadala samin ng letter ang hong kong police clearance department asking us kung nila pwede ipadala ang clearance certificate....pending document namin yun kaso naapprove visa namin even without that..

We tried calling the hotline kaso ang sabi they are not entertaining phone calls anymore, through email nalang daw lahat... nalilito kasi kami kung san address ang ilalagay since ang sabi sa emails "do not send original documents"...

Sa adelaide ang gsm case officer namin, but since granted naman na ang visa namin di ko alam if we still to send the clearance certificate to them..if ever alam niyo po ba:

1) postal address to send documents to australia??

Kamusta po. Sa mga may grants po sa inyo, clarify ko lang kung pwede naman po talaga na mag first landing kahit one of the family members lang?

In our case, ang principal applicant (husband) lang muna ang pupunta then susunod lang kami ng baby ko just before yung deadline na binigay samin for the first entry...

@engineer20 hello engineer, pag ba initial entry meaning pag pasok ng Oz any part pag daan ng inmigration nila yun na yun? Mabasa na sa system nila na nag entry na? Isip ko kasi if meron ba particular na office na need puntahan to process the initial entry procedure. Salamat
