@kulay17 ang advantage ng SVP, affidavit of financial declaration lang ang requirement. no evidence of funds necessary. so, that's one problem off your list.

Good morning all… last night my husband and I had a shock of our lives when we realized na madedelay ung processing nmin…
Ung NSO marriage certificate kasi nmin bears the wrong birth place for husband. So ngayon nung tumawag kme sa Philippine Embassy Singapore, ang sbe if we can file for Petition for Correction of Entry BUT the processing time will kill us! Ung PE officer hindi makapag commit ng timeline sakin over the phone… nag-research ako online and nagtanong tanong sa mga kamag-anak nmin sa pinas and they all told us the same thing - 4-6 months daw huhuhuhu…
Iniisip na lang nmin…nothing JUST happens. I wouldn’t take this as a “NO” from God. Siguro, pinaghihinay hinay nya lang din kme…
Now, hindi nmin alam kung mag direct migration process ba kme or student visa pa din when that time comes na OK na ung NSO marriage cert namin. We will just let God lead the way… nakaka-stressed din pala magasikaso ng BIG goals like this.

@TinerBebi why, are you eligible to apply for migrant visa? if you have that option, why not go that way? magastos ang student. ang goal mo rin naman is maging migrant in the future. shortcut na lang kung pwede naman, di ba?

matagal talaga pagkaganyan. pero di ba pwedeng magsubmit ng certification lang na nasa process of change yung birth place ng husband mo sa marriage certificate ninyo? baka pwede. baka tanggapin ng embassy for the purpose of applying for student visa lang. para sa akin kasi, di naman yun yung info na kelangan nila. proof lang naman na married ka to the person. try mo lang siguro ask, wala namang mawawala. unless, natanong mo na...

    Good day!

may dilemma kasi ako na gusto ko sanang iconsult sa inyo, could you please help me.

I am about to start my application as student visa(subclass 573, Bachelor of Nursing course). I am scheduled tomorrow at IDP makati to start my application sa school na napili ko in melbourne, hopefully makastart na nga kagad eh. actually, i already prepared all the necessary requirements and even had it certified na. talagang excited na akong mag apply kasi hinahabol ko sana yung last intake ng english course this year and yung nursing course na target ko is Feb 2014. malakas loob ko mag apply kasi i have an uncle in Melbourne who is an australian citizen na, so sya ang mag sponsor sa akin.

@jhoney kung ako, i'll take na lang muna the opportunity sa SG kasi ok naman work ng hubby mo dun. kung staff nurse talaga ang work mo, it will prepare you for OZ. mahal pag nag-aral ka dun as regular student. samantalang kung may 2 yrs experience ka, pwedeng bridging course ka na lang. madali mo lang matatapos. di masyadong magastos. pag may registration ka na, apply2x ka na dun as nurse. hanap ng employer na magsponsor sayo ng work visa.

or baka ang experience ng hubby nasa SOL naman, pwedeng sya na mag-apply directly for migrant visa?

@iheartoz , thank you so much sa pag reply ha..

actually, i have more than 7years experience as a registered nurse dito sa pinas. ang problema ko kasi kahit gusto ko sana bridging course na kagad ay yung ielts ko, hindi ko nakuha ang all 7points, ayaw ko ng mag retake kasi masyado na akong frustrated, pang 3rd take ko na pero hindi ko pa rin makuha ang all 7 kaya student visa ang inaplayan ko na lang.

si husband naman IT sya and na ckeck na namin sa SOL, wala yung line of work nya sa list kaya ako ang magiging main applicant na lang..

@iheartoz - c hubby kasi Civil Engineer...I just heard from my agent and tama ka! Hindi un ung main basis on whether my student visa will be approved or not. So we will just submit supporting documents like ung affidavit. Besides ung error is for my husband’s birth place…so it’s not so bad daw… mejo nabuhayan me ng loob. Sya ung hindi masyadong concerned sa difference ng gagastusin…kasi nga he wants me to invest in my self-education.

@jhoney hindi ba pedeng pagsabayin mo na lang? just attend your interview in Sept for that Singapore job. But I still suggest you to submit all your docs for student visa processing. Malay mo matanggap ka dun sa SG job WHILE waiting for the student visa to come out...eh di lipad ka na lang to AU from SG...okay pa nmn din umattend sa job interview, just cross the bridge when the job offer is already in front of you...hangga't hindi ka pa nag-sign ng job offer, you can still back out :) siguro by that time na kelangan mo ng pumirma ng job offer, mas definite na ung decision whether to take it or leave it. (suggestion lang nmn po)

@jhoney Hi! parehas pala tau ng naiisip hehe. Currently nsa Qatar ako for 6 years hosp and 3 years pinas exp.

@jhoney @dft wag nyong urungan ang IELTS kasi whichever path you take, bridging or conversion, babalikan nyo pa rin yan sa registration. wala pa ring lusot. hehehe.

Guys here is the reply of diac today:

    Dear Ms._________

    Thank you for your email.

Please note that the average processiong time for this type of Student visa application is about 90 workings days from date of lodgement. However, this is indicative only and individual applications may be decided shorter or longer than our advertised service standards. Applicants are encouraged to lodge their applications two months before their commencement dates as we are unable to expedite Student visa applications.

Your application is well within that service standard and the visa office endeavors to finalise it within that date..
