@jhalyn hello ganyan din case ko, bale inadvice ako ng uni to take graduate certificate to get the needed units required for their master's program, 1 sem din iyon. iyong uni ang magbibigay sayo ng program, just follow that.

Hi @jleeeeen. Thank you for sharing your inputs. bale may Offer letter na ako from school, Diploma and Adv Diploma it will take 1year and 1 1/2 years respectively. Ganun din suggestion ng school saakin na upon submission of Visa application isubmit daw pareho ang COE. Goodluck sa application mo. Hoping for possitive result.

Good Day Everyone.

I am very much interested about applying as student in Australia. I have some few questions though. I am currently 31 years old and a college under graduate. I finished 2 years lang. however, I finished practical nursing for 2 years. Do I have a chance to study in Australia? How will I start? Salamat po.

@charmzk hindi ko po nilagay na reason yung pwedeng mag work sa au while studying. As far as I remember, ang nilagay ko po, "good to know" na they allow students to work, para magkaron ng balance between studying and working para magkaron din ng skills thru work. Ang aim po is to study, hindi po kasi dapat nila makita na you are after the work and the salary.

@Gee HAHAHA nilagay ko sa gte ko, since pwede mag work ang student 40hours fortnight, mag wowork kami ng wife ko para magkaron extra money for leisure/holiday pag term break.

@sawadikap pag ganun po siguro pwede talaga kasi nag mention din ako nun eh. Hindi lang yata accepted kapag yun yung isa sa pinaka reason kung bakit mag Australia.:) mahalaga ma prove na babalik sa Pinas.:)

@just.jonie meron po chance yan pwede. Mas ok mag consult ka Agent na free process naman. Becareful lang po pagpili agent me mga bgla namemera kase sa una sasabhn free process. Pero Yan c IDP,Aecc,Ams sure na yan po maayos naman cla. Google lang address nla at matutulungan kau pumi ng course pwede sayo. Goodluck!

Dun sa part ng show money, bakit kaya my agent said na mas okay na nakapangalan sa parents ko yung bank acct instead of mine? Kasi pag sakin daw irerequire na buong 2 years of expenses ang magrereflect dapat? Is that true?

@keisi1987 it can be sa parents or sayo basta you should show if saan nanggaling yung pera. So maybe your agent suggested na sa parents since they will have enough evidence to show where and how they accumulated the money (nature of work, business etc.) and provide an affidavit of support.

The embassy could say that they do not believe you will be able to accumulate that amount of money if nasa account mo if you don't have enough income to support that(which would be a ground for your visa to be refused).

If sa parents mo naman and they do not have an affidavit of support the embassy could also say na I don't believe you can access that amount of money anytime (which would be another ground of refusal).

In my experience, my mom and I had a joint account where we deposited money until we reached 2M in our bank account (there are also specific banks acknowledged by DIBP check it here: http://philippines.embassy.gov.au/mnla/DIAC090313.html ). Nag submit lng yung mom ko ng affidavit of support then the proof where the money came from (deed of absolute sale from a property named after my parents). I also submitted a bank certificate and (3 months dated back) bank statement. They did not ask for further evidence and I was granted a visa weeks after lodging.

Feb 21 - self lodge
Feb 25 - medical
April 03 - visa grant notice

many thanks to all who have helped me in this forum and to my (almost) agent of course, KOKOS International (Sir MJ)! kahit nagself lodge ako they still gave me the best advise to do it! sobrang thankful ako sa lahat and hopefully sa mga naghihintay pa, you get appriove din talaga!! sobrang saya q lang po!

@Gee hello po uli. Thanks po don sa unang reply.
How many words ang required sa SOP? Meron po ba? DIY lang po kasi me, hopefully ma lodge ko na application ko this month, late na nga po kasi May 15 yong intake date ko received ko na CoE.
And di kaya e question or ma refuse bat need ko pa mag aral coz I'm currently working po dito sa UAE almost 6years na? and graduate ako ng Bachelor's Degree Commerce nag enroll ako sa isang training institute sa Oz Business certificate III and after ko ma complete plan ko kumuha ng 2 pang certificate bale 1 year and half me mag aaral.

Australian Academy of Management and Science sa Quakers Hill at Astute sa Penrith.
Pahingi po ng feedback to these school so we can decide. Disability at Diploma in Community Service po ang kukuning course.

February 25 - IELTS passed!!
March 25 - self-lodge visa application, no agent
March 27 - Medical exam SLEC
March 29 - Medicals uploaded
April 4, 1pm - request additional docs
April 4, 1:30pm - sent requested docs
April 4, 2:30pm - VISA GRANT!!!!! Thank you Lord!!

It only took 7 working days!

PS. Is it a coincidence? Haha

April 4, 2017 - VISA GRANT - Student visa
