Did they really lodge your visa? You can ask your agent to give u the TRN in that way u can verify the status of your visa thru immiaccount

Hi @happyheart. Pwede ba mag lodge ng 457 visa kahit wlang agent as long as i provide ng employer yung TRN? I se send daw ng employer ko yung contract sa akin once may NBI clearance and COC from Singapore Police Force. Then nomination na ata yung next step once ma sign yung contract.
    Thank you

@switpotato yes, pwedeng pdf copies lang and then ipprint nila yun tapos lalagyan ng stamp at red ribbon para kapag pinadala nila ready na for use for OEC. Tapos yung sa bayad, wire transfer BPI to the bank account provided by POLO Canberra then send them the scanned copy of the receipt from the bank.

Baka meron pong makakasagot.

Ang signed contract ko from my present employer is 2 years, sila nagsponsor samen ng wife ko. Nagapply na po ako ng PR, upon granting po kaya eh pwede ko na mabreach yun? Related lang kaya yung contract sa 457 visa? Thanks.

@dy3p hintayin mo talaga ang contract na 2 years but it depends on what are the conditions stated on the contract. Are you planning to find another employer once your PR visa is granted?

@dy3p Actually you can cease 457 visa but there are conditions like 8107 and 8501, you may review those conditions. I am talking on the employer's contract as there's called cost of recovery as they spent some money on your 457 visa. So it depends on your employer whether they will agree that you will cease your employment to them. They may ask you to return the money they spent on your 457 visa or build a case. So it is important to review your employment contract.

@HappyHeart Thanks. I do have both of that limitations which is work limitation and insurance respectively. Once the PR is granted, will it not take over the present 457 visa and its conditions? The only amount stated in my contract which should be returned is the relocation assistance they provided me. Other than that, I can't seem to find something about giving back based on the contract. Of course, I wouldn't want to ask that as early as now. hehe Thanks again, it would probably be best if I ask my manager after the visa is granted.

Hi does anyone know if the employer can proceed with the nomination process without a signed contract? In my case, they only asked me to submit: 1. NBI clearance, 2. immunization declaration form, 3. certified copy of my and my husband's passport and 4. offline application form.

One of the staff from the people service department said that it would take 4 days to 4 months processing time. once the nomination is approved then they will give the TRN and I can start my Immiaccount application.

@Timalan I think better na dumaan ka sa assessing body, para yung work na makukuha mo related is sa profession mo.

@lyn24 Pwede kana actually mag apply ng 457 simultaneously. Tanong mo lang yung TRN for the application they submitted. Ganon ang ginawa ko, halos 2 days ang difference pag file nila ng nomination to my submission of 457 application.
