Enrolling in CPA Australia

@kayetrish titingnan ko pa kong may budget hehe. may hidden agenda kasi sa pag pa member. once member ka kasi. free ang migration assessment. so at least maka libre ng migration assessment naka pag pa member pa. kaya wala pa talga plan to enroll. pero im reading some ethics materials na din. just in case I will take that one first.

Meorn na po ba ditong nakapag request ng finger print card sa SG para makakuha ng police clearance sa Pinas or sa ibang bansa kung sa.ln ka dati nagstay?

@batman tlga? honestly.. balak ko muna mag ASA.. kasi ung pang eenroll pang dagdag na un sa bayad sa visa eh.. pero kung my extra money pa.. why not? para pag nag apply may CPA na tlg compared s ASA>. either way atleast partly member..my chance pa rin mahire.. tpos icontinue n lng pag nasa AUS na.. let's see..

pero di ko alam n kaht ASA k lng..free na ang migration assessment.. sinama ko un sa expenses if ever.. hopefully... free nga..para mkpg PTE na...

@jhazz01 my thread yta about jan.. anyways.. ntry ko yan nung nasa SG aq.. punta lang aq sa philippine embassy pero my appointment yta un..email mo sila.. tpos bbgyan k nila ng sched usually s hapon un.. for finger printing.. tpos ung NBI clearance ko pinaayos ko sa bestfren ko s pinas

@batman meaning kaht assoc member k pa lng.. free na ang migration assessment.. nung nabasa ko kasi yan ang pgkakaintindi ko CPA AUS member ka na..pero kung naconfirm sau ng CPAA n kht assoc member pa lng.. why not.. membership n lng muna byran.. Thank u Lord..

"However what we suggest you can do is once you are due for renewal of membership after you have done step up above by Nov 2016 of this year, you can pay the 2017 full year membership fees (AUD290) and then be granted the opportunity to do the skills migration assessment for free (The requirement is based on paying a full years membership fee first)"

@kayetrish ayos nga e, my problem is I need to have migration assessment para maka pag lodge at hopefully ma invite before my 33 bday kasi bawa 5 points na sya. e Sept. na bday ko.

@batman naku.. dapat complete mo na mga papers mo.. para mkpglodge ka agad.. honestly, asawa ko nga pla ang accountant.. heheh.. ultrasound aq.. pero aq kasi nag aayos ng papers nya.. kaya aq ngsesearch ng bongga.. pipirma n lng xa.. haha.. tpos mag 37 na un this august.. gusto ko sna mgprimary applicant kasi 29 lng aq.. kaso di aq mkapasa pasa sa IELTS(laging 6.5 lng writing ko) kakaretake ko lng ulit, hopefully 7 na lahat!! ... kya xa pagtake ko ng PTE para my options kmi.. either way..

@batman most akala nurse kmi.. hehehe.. pero ibng course kinukuha nmin... super shortage sa australia ung field ko...

d ko lng sure s mga nurses kung pwede sila sa PTE.. ung OET kasi sure un pang medical courses lng...dti ksi hndi aq ngcheck kung ano pa pwede kasi IELTS focus ko, di ko pa kasi alam kung NZ, UK, Canada ako.. atleast kht san don IELTS ang accepted.. eh ngyn focus n kmi sa Australia, kaya ngyon ko lng nakita ibng options.. kung alm ko lng..mas kakayanin ko siguro ung OET kc ung speaking nila based on your profession pti writing.. hndi katulad s IELTS super general.. parang magmamasteral ka ng English language..

To all those who took the MPA - what are the requirements that you submitted?

My wife submitted the COE, education papers, latest CV and most importantly she wrote a letter to CPA explaining why she should be exempted from 3 subjects...

@TasBurrfoot wala akong sinamang letter. education papers, PRC documents, Identification docs at COE lang mga sinma ko.

@caylin medyo mahirap ang exams pero open book nman kaya ok lang. pwede nman pagsabayin ang 3 subjects pero demanding sa oras bawat subject, dapat full time studying ka. kung may job ka naman, manageable ang 2 subjects, pero wag mong pagsasabayin ang TAX at FR. average number of pages of all study guides (alone) is 550, except TAX that has 825 pages (2 vols), at medyo challenging yung capital gains tax. dont hurry kasi hindi na tayo required sa 3 yrs practical experience. yung iba nga 1 subject per sem lang, and they have to gain another 3 yrs of practical experience after exams to advance to CPA status. Eto yung combinations ko:

Sem1 '15 - SMA & TAX (elective)*
Sem2 '15 - FR & Ethics
Sem1 '16 - GSL & CBI (elective)

*required ang TAX kung gusto mong magtuloy sa public practice certificate (CPA PPC)

nung time namin wala pang MRA between PICPA & CPAA kaya pinakuha pa ko ng isang foundation subject before magstart sa prof'l level.

@vernel thanks for the info. Hindi ka na po nirequire ng 3 yrs practical experience. Im starting with ethics and SMA. Parang nalula ako sa kapal ng libro. Haha. Who was the exams sa sma and ethics? Thanks.

@batman online gnawa ko, ng create ng account sa CPAA, tpos ngpass n ko mga docs,laht laht pinasa ko na dhil need ng job description at detailed CV for pathway 1, ininclude n nmin, syllabus,diploma, TOR, PICPA ID at cert, PRC cert and grades, marriage cert, iqama (national ID), driver's license, passport..
tpos sabi ko sa asawa ko after nya iattach ung docs, gumawa xa ng letter that he is entitled for pathway 1. tpos sinend nmin sa 2 emails na tinanong ko sau para sure (upload.. ma.comms...)

*pinagawa ko xa ng letter kasi ang pangit nmn kung attach lng na docs ang laman ng email, para my letter din na we are sending ung docs + ung purpose ng application.
