Meron po ba thread dito tungkol sa price ng groceries, fare, gas, etc.? Gusto ko sana i-estimate ang gastos sa isang buwan.

I don't think meron pre but there are websites out there that gives a rough estimate on the prices of goods...

For sure mas mahal sya sa Singapore prices if you convert and use PHP as the base rate...

Tanong naman po sa mga taga SG...medyo OT po! Regarding sa COC nyo kayo ba personally ang nag collect nito sa may cantonment. Kasi yung sa akin pina collect sa akin at ako na daw mar mail sa CO. Im confused, tama ba yun? Kasi may nabasa ako na SG police will send sa CO yung COC..

@Phil_Sing_Au : yung sa akin, SPF ang nag-mail sa DIAC directly. kung pinacollect sa inyo, ok na rin po yan kasi pwede nyo na lang i-scan at email sa CO. pag SPF kasi mag-mail...via regular mail lang which takes 2 weeks.

question lang po. was able to get 4 letters of reference from my current supervisors (2 in singapore -- with a detailed scope of work plus the usual palabok haha) and 2 from pinas. may mga dati na din akong cert. of employment from pinas pero walang scope of work. at di nila type magbigay.

yung sa sg (di ako makakahingi sa HRD kasi matutunugan na mag-mimigrate ako) pero madami akong payslips, yung contract ko way back 2008, 4 yearly apraisals, pati yung letter of confirmation ko - permanent employee)

puwede na po ba yun for skills assessment (Surveying Spatial Sciences Institute of Australia) which is parang kapareho lang ng Engineers Australia. Any inputs peeps? thanks.

@engr_boy hindi ako familiar sa COE requirement ng surveying spatial sciences.. pero kung irerelate ko to sa ACS requirement, since di ka makakaprovide ng detailed COE kailngan mo gumawa ng statutory declaration using your payslips, contract etc as proof of employment.

you have to check kung tatanggapin ba ng assessing body kung san ka magpapaassess ang collated docs mo..

actually heto yung list needed for skilled migration assessment

a completed Application Form (refer Attachment A);

land, cadastral, geodetic or engineering surveying; -- check

parang medyo vague at walang nabanggit na COE. hmmm. nag-email na rin ako sa kanila. we'll see kung ano response.

nag-reply na sila. this morning lang. sufficient na daw for skills assessment yung Letters of Recommendation ko no need na daw yung detailed COEs. Mukhang mas lenient sila. siguro kasi kakaunti lang yun nasa line of work namin. heads up for all the Surveyors (Building, Cadastral, Hydro, Mining), GIS Specialist, Geospatial Analyst.

Maraming salamat sa info boss:-). Yup dito ako sa SG work. PR ako dito pero dapat nang i renew next year at baka di na ako i renew sa hirap nang pag aapply ngayon. Gusto ko sanang mag try sa OZ kc nawawala na ang long term security to stay here in SG.
Sir, ask ko na rin sana kung may advantage ang pag aapply nang visa kung PR ka dito? Salamat po ulit.

Sir Nightdriver09, yung Stat Dec nyo po kayo mismo ang nag declare? or yung colleague nyo na kasama nyo sa OZ High Commission?

eto po kasi from ACS, so kung puede naman pala.

"Important Note: Self-references from applicants in the form of a first person statutory declaration cannot be accepted as evidence of employment and cannot be assessed. Statutory Declarations must be from a third party work colleague and signed by an authorised witness to be accepted for assessment"

@KTP : wala pa din plano e. nangangarap pa din kme makachamba ng work kahit wala kami sa OZ...pero sobrang hirap pala. nagdedecide pa kami kung kelan kami pupunta dun para dun na maghanap. malamang after pasko na din unless may maghire sa amin before that.

@hotshot - oo, rerenounce namen PR namen this nov. Un ang gagamitin namen sa pangarap na bahay at lupa sa au... hehe

anong research ang kelangan mo? bahay at lupa pa den? hehe -- ganun pa den halos sinasabe ng mga housing loan institutions, kelangan at least 6 mos ka na sa trabaho before ka makapagloan. malaki na den ang first housing grant na makukuha naten kung kukuha tayo ng first home naten before Jan 2014 ata 15K aud na sha, pero ang capped na sha at 650K. hehe so un pa den target namen, ung mga binigay ko sayo na info ng prices ng bahay at lupa. kelangan lang wag lalampas sa 650K.

Kame this october, magp-pass na den ng mga resume, and hopefully den, makahanap ng work before pumunta dun. Kung wala, jan 2013 kame alis papunta dun. sana makahanap ng work agad para di maubos ang savings.

Bdw, ung mga d pa nagiinitial entry dahil wala pang work, in my case im going there without any job offers I applied at seek.com I got 0 replies. I dont know but im not worried if wala kong work pagdating ko dun, I think im open in trying odd jobs naman. Kanina ko lang nakita to sa gumtree dameng odd jobs, ung iba they pay you $700 aud per week so enough na cguro un pambayad rent and buy ng food. Mag ganun munako habang wala pang nahahanap na work sa field ko. Also dont laugh ha hehe wala talaga kong naipon dto sa sg for 4 yrs hehe gastador din ako cguro, im going there w only 4t sgd in my hands hehe. Feeling ko that can sustain me maybe for 2 months but if I get odd jobs I think itll be fine. Me mga modeling jobs din dun part time bka pde ren ako dun whahaha chos!!! lolz
