sa mga nagtatanong dito about getting Pinas NBI clearance while nasa abroad, ito po ginawa ng most of the people sa forum na nakakuha na:

    1. Contact Ms. Sandra Sobida thru [email protected]. You may ask her phone number and call for faster discussion (and para ma-feel mo din na totoo siya, you know what I mean :)).
    2. Send thru her EMAIL address the following:
    - scanned filled out form from the nbi website using address abroad
    - scanned 2x2 picture with white background
    - scanned old nbi clearance
    - scanned passport
    3. Send payment through western union. Note: 115 pesos per clearance plus xxx pesos depends if ordinary mail lang or courier (DHL costs 780 pesos).

    Sandra P. Sobida
    Mailed Clearance Section
    NBI U.N. Avenue Manila 1000
    Philippines

    4. Request Ms. Sandra to send the NBI clearances to your address abroad.
    5. Don't ever forget to thank her & Him
Tinanong ko din abouut may old NBI clearances dates Nov 2005 pa ang she said pwede pa daw isubmit.

@thegreatiam15 Tuwing nagcocommute ako rito, namimiss ko yung frequency of buses and trains diyan, tsaka mura at generally safe na mga taxi! I also sometimes miss cheap meals outside and some stores / brands (would you believe ngayon pa lang sila magkakaroon ng Forever 21 dito?!). Mostly I miss feeling safe outside at night. They say Australian cities are generally safe, l but if we're talking about safety and security lang talaga give me Singapore any day.

The other day namiss ko ang soybean curd at nagresearch pa ako kung saan makakabili rito. Hehe

@thegreatiam15 - na miss ko ang pagkaing Singapore and the convenience of being able to travel anytime and anywhere (as long as may leaves) - dito kasi sa Australia, mas mahal na pumunta sa Asia or Europe, added to the fact that mas lesser ang disposable income as a result of higher tax...

    no regrets! :)

    Thank you @eccen3k, @mast3ree, @TasBurrfoot sa replies!

Pero in general sabihin marami pang naka-adsl at minsan mabagal sya depende sa ISP, location, busy servers, etc

Pero in general sabihin marami pang naka-adsl at minsan mabagal sya depende sa ISP, location, busy servers, etc
tama internet is really dependent on location - mga 5mbps lang sa amin on the average; decent enough and better than what I averaged in SG before (2008-2012) na 3mbps.

one thing to note is internet takes a while to be connected here... unlike sa singapore na plug and play if may exciting connection ang unit; dito it can take at least 2weeks.

and mahal internet dito - i pay $80/month for an adsl connection with 100gb limit.

mas mabagal ang internet namin adsl (tpg) - Southeast of Perth, WA . 3mbps give or take.. mas mahal din kesa sa sg at may mga plans na may data cap. sa sg dati, (starhub) - 25 mbps unlimited, slow na yun for sg. iba pag naka-nbn dito mas mabilis, though they are the exception not the rule. kakaunti pa lang sila. norm talaga eh adsl. pero mas mabagal sa pinas (p@#$%^& KNN CCB!), hinde pa reliable. dito reliable.

kung sg-style na food (hawker) ang hanap mo. mas mahal dito, mas kakaunti at mas meh.. 11-15 aud mutton breyani, various chinese noodle dishes 8-12 aud, rendang daging 10-15 aud.. though mas madaming vietnamese food options kesa sg. namiss ko tuloy bah kuh teh sa woodlands.

    @thegreatiam15 - if I may:

One thing to consider here is that Australians here are very multi-cultural compared to the Chinese, Malay and Indians of Singapore... From my experience, the people here don't care about the new migrants. People mind their own business, do the best they can and try to make a good living for themselves and their family.

kinakausap kaba nila nang kaswal kagaya siyempre pag tayo tayo mga Noypi or Malay Chinese nagbibiruan minsan

    pero dumarating time na nadedeadend

@thegreatiam15 tama si @tasburrfoot - they don't care, it doesn't mean as much to them that we're Pinoy because there are so many other races here, tsaka tingin ko mas may reputation yung iba kesa sa atin

Land of migrants kasi ang australia ultimately magiging au citizens din nman tayo dun. Unlike dito sa sg, pinoy will always be considered as a race working in singapore competing with locals for job. A second/ third class citizens. Racism/ discriminations here may not be direct/ harap harapan pero alam mo na un hehe

    @vhoythoy

Some are better monthly disposable income, 3 months bonus every dec, 1-3 mins mrt train interval and bus (transpo convenience), can go back to pinas faster/ cheaper, fast internet, malls, etc. ung iba secret na hahaha.
