@troy - am curious as to how they found out about your hypertension? was it when they took your BP?

could it be just one-off? meaning normally, you would have normal BP? or you really have hypertension?

Prove mo lang din na you can maintain your blood sugar level, the best din is hingi ka certificate sa doctor mo. I think hihingin din talaga to sa mga clinics where you'll have your medicals. :)

That was a long time ago, hindi ko rin alam kung anong level nung disability when they applied.

Di raw pumasa yung isang kapatid simply because crossed-eyed.

we might use the services of agent. sa mga nbbsa ko e mukhang risky sitwasyon nmin. tnx for the link.. :)

@hopeful - sa pov ko in most cases using an agent is a waste of money. But sa case nyo so makakatulong sila.

Sobrang ok talaga medical benefits dito. Walang travel insurance, so when she was hospitalized ang laki nang gastos, plus yung maintenance na gamot after umabot sa 800+ per day. Buti nakabalik agad sa Oz - cost of meds 1aud/day (better quality pa yan), plus free rehab twice a week!

Meron din pinoy couple who decided to retire na sa Pinas so they sold everything pati unit sa Sydney. Kaso pag-uwi pareho naging sickly, nahirapan silang mag-adjust.

Hi. Im new here :) then nakita ko itong topic about medical problem. Maybe guys you could give me idea coz I am really worried na ma deny. We are applying for spouse visa, kaso may history ako ng PTB due to hospital exposure. do you know anyone with my same case? what happened? ma de deny kaya ako? I already did my 6 months treatment. I did my sputum culture and sensitivity test & Sputum AFB and it's negative, no bacteria growth. but after my 6 months of treatment, still my scar pa din ang lungs ko. My pulmo said, im not active.

What do you think? Maraming salamat :)

@laxin - I think your case should be ok. Not sure if ok mag post dito ng links from other forums, but for your peace of mind:
    http://www.australiaforum.com/visas-immigration/6885-previous-tb-history.html
    http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/87815-slight-lung-scar-lung-blunting-x-ray-problem.html

Pag may active TB they will request the applicant to undergo medication for 6-months, then pag-clear na nabibigyan pa rin nang visa. Saw sa other forums na kahit may scar/calcification ok pa rin.

Having said that, I know mas mahigpit sila sa mga nasa medical profession, so I hope hindi related doon ang work mo.

@tita_vech : thank you po sa links and information. Sadly, I'm in health care team. That's how I got infected. Tapos na din ako sa 6 months treatment. Now we should pray hard na sana ma approved and also, wag naman sana ako mahirapan makahanap ng work. Im confident na I'm fit to work with evidence of my lab, pero sila pa din decision maker.

Don't worry much, malaki chance mo makapasa. Or if may konting delay tanggapin with open heart kasi everything happens for a reason.

Isasama mo sa prayers pati ang mga co, that they will be in a positive frame of mind pag hinawakan ang case nyo. Di ba kasi pag maganda ang araw nila big advantage sa mga cases na iaassess for that day.

Alam natin ang power of prayers, and ask for assistance kay St Jude and sa mga saints that you particularly feel you have special connection with.

You've come a long way, maliit na hurdle lang ito.

Importante yung mister mo may work. Goodluck

ewan ko kung required pero parang hindi naman but we really did not eat brekkie when we had our medicals last weekend.

basta iwasan lang talaga ang softdrinks or anything matamis hours before your medicals - baka kasi it will affect your sugar levels in your urine test.

    Good luck.

Helo just had our medical exams kanina. Sobrang bigla ko kasi during the urine test sabi nung babae nangtest diabetic ba daw ako. D ako makasagot agad kasi d ko alam if yes or no. Nabigla ako sa tanong nya. Yung lolo at nanay ko kasi diabetic. Sabi ko I don't know haha..
May naka try naba dito about diabetes? Baka kasi meron talaga ako, I should seek medication daw.
Maaapprove pa kaya ako sa visa ko? huhuhu.. please share, I'm so worried. :(
If I may, I will just po give my opinion on this...

Diabetes (mellitus) naman po, is not diagnosed ng isang beses or isang test lang. It could be that when your urine was tested, mataas ang sugar load mo. Example, kakakain mo lang heavy breakfast or uminom ka ng kape or softdrinks. Kaya, may nakikita sa urine. What's more sensitive for diabetes is urine ketones. Tsaka, pinapa-blood test ka muna bago masasabing diabetes ka talaga.

Ano sinabi nila sayo? I suggest you repeat your urine test. Para na rin for your own awareness. Pero young ka pa naman di ba? I seriously doubt diabetic ka given that you're young. But it would be good to be tested kasi may family history kayo.

    Goodluck... :)
