@louietheresa, magcclaim po ba kayo ng partner's skill points? If not, at least functional english (4.5 overall band score sa IELTS). Kung ayaw nyo ng ielts, pwede rin ang CEMI (certificate of english as medium of instruction) na makukuha sa school kung saan sya nag-aral para mas tipid.

@louietheresa hello po..if college graduate naman dependent mo and have the docs to prove that and can get a Certificate of English as Medium of Instruction (CEMI) pede na po di magtake ng english exam to prove functional english. That is what I know po. Otherwise, I believe she just needs to get all 30 sa PTE, not bad!

thanks po @rich88, @StarJhan @ms.dee_celestiel.... di ko sure po anong nangyari. hahaha.. mas maayus pa konti ung score ko sa mock test.. nung time ng exam kasi sguro kabado tlaga ako.. tapos basang basa pa pants ko at damit sa lakas ng ulan. parang di ako nakafocus agad. di ko na napansin tuloy oras na may matira pang 2 items bago magbreak. akala ko kaya pa ng 1 min. ung pala mahirap na sya same scenarion sa last 2 items ng part 2 di ko na din nasagutan. times up na. in case ung items 13 may sagot na, pero nagtime out. di kaya sya counted? naisip ko if baka di lang tig dalawa items nawala baka pati ung parehong items 13 di din nasama kasi di ko na next agad... naabutan sya ng times up...or authomatic sya nakasave.para pasok pa din sa nakalusot na items. 205AUD pa din po bayad? need ko pala tlaga magretake kasi ito score ko. di sya lahat 50plus. para sa competent :-( Listening - 49 / Reading - 56 / Speaking - 47 / Writing 52 - Overall - 51.. super baba :-( nagulat tlaga ako. kasi vocabulary - 85, spelling - 88, grammar - 77. oral - 46 , pronounciation - 51... so baka pwede din na sa speaking part ako nagkaproblema.. mahina? sure ako medyo tagilid ako sa graph.. di po ba magsend sa DIBP ung failed score? para magretake na lang

@louietheresa no worries! We are here to help basta research ka lang din and back up all ideas with more facts para po sure na sure. Alam mo, try to search sa forum, I just read that marami din undergrad nun college ang dependent nila pero kumuha na lang ng CEMI at TOR sa school nila instead of english exam. If you will read also yung sa link ng functional english sa dibp it is true na pede undergrad. Para di na kayo gagastos. But, if you really want to take the english exam, it can always be done. Basta kung san kayo mas kampante. Good luck po!

@MayoMay kailangan mo nga kumuha ulit ng test.

@MayoMay need mo lang mag re-take. May positive ACS assessment ka naman at hindi naman required ang english score sa ACS. You need to pay the full amount for the re-take.

You can claim partner points once you have a positive ACS assessment and at least 50 points sa english test result. Kaya mo yan. Kinabahan ka lang.

Next time, if maaari, agahan mo yung punta dun sa exam site. Use your extra time to calm yourself down. Tapos check mo mabuti yung mic, keyboard kung gumagana lahat bago ka mag statt. Siguro schedule your exam at least 2 weeks from now para makapag practice ka pa ulit.

Alam ko may option na hindi i-send agad sa DIBP, sasabihin sayo yun nung test moderator. Pero it doesn't matter naman kasi may new test ID ka naman ata once mag retake ka.

@louietheresa bro, point out ko lang.. if you're planning let your wife to take PTE/IELTS as proof of functional english, 1 year lang ang validity nyan unlike sa normal na 3 years for the main applicant. Here's the excerpt from DIBP:

How can I prove I have functional English?

To prove that you have functional English you must provide evidence of one of the following:
A Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic test result of an overall band score of at least 30 based on the four test components of speaking, reading, writing and listening. Your test must have been completed within 12 months of visa application lodgement or can be completed during visa application processing.

I didn't expect it today kasi SA processing time is 7 weeks kala ko mga sept7 ba darating.. kaya really overjoyed now.

@haunter08 @xiaolico thanks guys! Today lng dumating and dated today din ang ITA letter. May agent kc kmi kya dko sure what time today. Pero iba kc ang SS Application sa 189. Pag approve na ang state application normally automatic ITA from DIBP sa 189 lng tlga applicable yung schedule rounds of invitation. Pag state sponsorship random dates ang ITA basta approved na ang SS makakareceive din agad ng ITA.
