457 is a work visa henceforth kailangan talaga magpa-member sa OWWA so that you can get your OEC.

Etong OEC na ito, this will be the piece of paper you will give to Phil Immigration so that they will let you out of the country even with no return ticket at hand. Apart from this purpose, this will also except you from paying terminal fee and travel tax.

    Hope this clarifies... :)

So ang mga 189 and 190 visa holders ay hindi na kailangang magbayad ng OEC, terminal fee or travel tax kapag magbabakasyon sa pinas?

sa pagkakaalam ko po...pag PR ka ng ibang country, no need for OEC pero kelangan mo pa magbayad ng travel tax at terminal fee. for the travel tax, discounted naman (mga 200php yata) pero sa terminal fee 550php pa din. PR kasi ako dito sa SG at ganyan yung binabayad ko pag umuuwi ako ng pinas. i think it's the same basta PR ka ng ibang countries. :)

so pag OFW ka (non-PR)...yung OEC ang magiging substitute for the terminal fee at travel tax. pag PR ka naman, you will still need to pay a discounted travel tax and the full terminal fee.

Tama si hotshot - you will still pay the terminal fee but you will get a steep discount of the travel tax. Instead of the full amount, you will just pay 200 as process fee.

Funny thing is that mejo mahal naman ang processing fee nila! :D No matter how you look at it, tinataga talaga tayo sa gobyerno...
