Sitting the IELTS in Vietnam or Thailand

I, along with the other reviewees of one of the most recognised review centers in the Phils, was advised by the CEO that it is a good idea taking the test in the said countries (if was not successful in PH). Not belittling their English speaking abilities but we speak way better than they do.

Having said this, I am taking the test on Nov 5 (haven't booked a flight yet). Is there anyone here wanting to take the test outside the Phils? Would be a better idea if we come together as group. Hehe. Para mas safe po.

Sana po meron. :-)

@dayang14 I took my IELTS in Thailand coz I am based in the country that time. I dont think the test standards will vary. Addtional expense lang sayo since magtatravel ka pa. If you are comparing the way Thais speak english, ang effect lang naman is sa speaking part and i dont think the accent will affect the way you were rated.

Hi to all. Took the ielts on the 19 Nov in Ho Chi Minh City. We all know that IELTS test is standardised. I took the test there in hopes of getting a better score in writing as there is +/-0.5 subjectivity. Getting a 7 in writing here in the Phils has been the hurdle for most nurses wanting to go overseas, hence the eagerness to get the aim scores

Hi! Guys sorry but I haven't had enough funds for the Vietnam trip so what I did was I've book my exam here in the Philippines under Niners exclusive examination. If I still haven't got what I intended well probably I'll take OET or PTE instead. Crossed-fingers! Lord guide us!

My apologies for the confusion. Talking about the combination of two ielts test results, that was in reference to applying as a nurse thru AHPRA.
