Paying the tuition fee

edited September 2012 in Study and Training Visa
We are now ready to pay the tuition fee and OSHC in the amount of 11k plus AUD. We went to Metrobank and BDO and their procedures are the same. We cannot send the money to the Uni’s account using our own peso bank deposit. It must be from a US dollar account (wala ako) or I will bring my own USD money. The bank will not sell you USD if the purpose is you will send it abroad. There are also many requirements like your agreement with your Uni, etc.
Is their any other way to pay the tuition without bringing my own dollars. Kasi baka madaya pa sa kabibili ng dollar sa mga money changer.

@simpleman I also have the same dilemma right now. IDP advised me to pay via telegraphic transfer and I already inquired in some banks. Since nakita ko po na last year pa kayo nag-apply for student visa, ask ko lang kung pano kayo nag-pay ng tuition fee sa school?

@shyla_guccis did a telegraphic transfer via allied bank, account ng mom ko ginamit to pay my tuition fees.... available naman po ang telegraphic transfer sa mga banks kaso dapat ata may account ka sa kanila para magawa mo yun...

quiet surprise how on earth maging cheaper ang western union; usually these companies charge a very hefty fee for money transfer.
