I heard tourist visa lang ang binibigay for IRON program, meaning you dont have any rights to work in Australia meaning after graduation mahirap kumuha ng employer who will sponsor you kasi nga you dont have any rights to work in Australia plus limited lang stay mo sa Aussie. After your visa expires, you will go back to Phils and apply for a new visa.

Ako din po ask ko din dana yung mga nakapag bridging na if how was it? And mahirap po ba? Tia :)

Hi fellow nurses, i took the IRON program last year sa ETEA. I have 16 years experience as RN and at the same time C.I. sa isang university dito sa Pinas. Bali 4 wks ang theoreticals - Basic nursing skills, basic med-surg topics then return demo ng basic nursing skills followed by 5 weeks clinical placement, 1 week post conference.

Here's an existing topic specific for nurses who wants to emigrate to Australia

I'm here in Saudi Arabia, working for about 2 1/2 years but i have 4 years exp in Phil.

hi @ykcul_kcul yes I'm here in Saudi right now and working in the hospital as well, with regards to your concern maybe you can check to some of the migration agency because they know what pathway would fit to your qualifications. and besides you need the experience when you are applying jobs in Oz and some of the migration agency whom I contact suggested that its better to have experience in a 100 bed capacity hospital.

@aranayad Iaassess pa naman siya ng AHPRA before siya makapagbridging kung eligible ba siya or hindi. As long as she gets the required score for IELTS, wala namang problema. :)

@aranayad Oo 7 in all components. Usually around $12k to 13k up yung tuition fee. :)

@ykcul_kcul Ayos lang, you can ask anytime. :) Based from what I've read na yung applicant is from Saudi, sinubmit nila yung COGS. Eto yung link for the template: http://www.anmac.org.au/file/401
