hi guys... share your au experience here...

napost ko na to sa isang thread... ulitin ko na lang dito...

share ko lang experience ko...
kanina kumuha ako ng medicare at nagparegister sa centrelink...

isa lang sila ng office sa campsie, ang haba ng pila sa centrelink, kaya dun muna ako sa medicare kasi wala naman nakapila, may binigay lang saken na form tapos pagkafill-up ko binigay ko sa kanya, then niregister nako... wait daw ng 10 working days para madeliver yung card ko....

pila naman ako sa centrelink, tapos nung turn ko na, sabi saken nung babae dun,
girl: ano kelangan mo, manghihingi ka ba ng unemployment payment etc...
ako: hindi, magpaparegister lang ako...
girl: hindi mo kelangan magparegister kung wala ka ike-claim...
ako: akala ko requirement magregister sa centrelink pag new migrant?
girl: hindi na, pero ganito na lang, iregister na lang kita sa centrelink... (siguro para manahimik nako lol...)

ayun binigyan ako ng parang number...centrelink number siguro to...
(nagtatagalog yung kausap ko lol...)

next, punta naman ako sa commonwealth bank para mag open ng account...

ang bait ng nakausap ko, inexplain nya lahat...

requirements nila to open an account
passport
visa
address (temp lang, sa kaibigan ko)
postal address( office address ginamit ko)
phone number
tfn (wala ako, ok lang daw, apply na lang daw ako)
pera (natural... 10,000 aud inopen ko hahahha wish ko lang)

kelangan meron kang 2K aud na pumasok every month para wala kang $4 fee...
kaya sabi ko, dun ko ipapasok ang payroll ko...

ayun so far ok naman, andito ako sa library ngayon at nag-aantay ng oras kasi maya pako susunduin ng tropa ko lol....

    nagpunta kami ng CBD para bisitahin yung office ko at kamustahin yung mga kaofcmate ko...

    so kumain muna kami sa mcdo nung kasama ko kasi tanghali na...

    Haha natawa ako dun sa cheese baga. Siguro ang hindi ko lang masyado makalimutan pa na experience ko dito yun nasa may Norwest Blvd ako na intersection, paliko ako sa kanan.. dun ako pumasok sa right lane na meron mga naka-stop na kotse. Hindi ko makalimutan yun facial expression nun babae na driver akala niya siguro babanggain ko siya. Hahahaha.

    @icebreaker1928 kaya pala hindi ka naintindihan ng cashier, pinoy pala, baka akala talagang baga order mo as in lungs (!?) Dapat cheese barhgah. :-)

    Ako naman, dun sa coffee shop na katabi ng hostel na tinuluyan ko sa Sydney CBD, meron un okray na staff. Kasi gusto ko subukan yung coffee na kakaiba ang name, nakita ko yung moschito, so order naman ako, nagtataka bakit yung bartender me tinatawagan pa sa walkie talkie nya, hindi nya yata alam gawin yung moschito. Tas nung dumating na yung tinawag nya yun, tinanong nya ko "Are u sure u want moschito?" I said yes. Then yung sinerve sa akin concentrated coffee sya na 5 teaspoon lang yata, nagulat ako. Siguro akala nila inaasar ko sila, e'malay ko ba na ganun lang pala ang moschito, then later in-explain nila na dapat sinabi ko moschito latte. Suplado rin sila, sana in-explain nila kung ano yun bago binigay sa akin.

    Share ko naman yun sumakay ako ng public bus from Hide Park papuntang Bondi, biglang may sumakay na n Chinese mom na dala-dala yung baby na nasa trolley, tas biglang sabi ng "excuse me" sa akin, nagtataka ako kase pwede naman syang dumaan sa aisle ng bus bakit sya tumigil at tumingin sa akin and said excuse me nun pala dapat pala tumayo ako sa upuan at ibigay sa kanya kasi me dala syang baby. Medyo awkward tuloy ang situation buti me kasama ako noon na friend ko, sinabi nya na tumayo ako. :)
