I went to unionbank to apply for eon card. Due to EMV replacements, hindi nila ako ni-issuehan. Madami kasi nagsa-suggest na EON card ay pwede gamitin as prepaid card for payment.
Meron bang naka-experience of using other DEBIT/ Prepaid cards PH-issued?
Need help here! Malapit na deadline ko!?

Meron ako debit card mastercard. Not sure if I can use that until someone says he or she did use the same (or visa debit card).

A day bago mag expire yung invite ko nagkaproblema ako sa lodging buong araw ako sa bank kasi kahit may enough funds ung account nag iinvalid transaction ako only to found na nde na daw nag aaccept ng morethan 150k online transaction kahit na niset ko as max 250k yung transaction limit ko. 3 kasi kami applicant.
My advise kung may friend kayo na may malaking credit limit sa CC maki swipe nalang kayo then pay cash. Another option kung may time pa naman is kung may credit card ka na pde kayo mag pa approve na temporary itaas yung credit limit for a certain transaction lang. Subject for approval nga lang.

@MissOZdreamer yes nabasa ko po ang message nyo. As of now credit card is an not an option. Medyo malaki ang kelangan ko ipa-increase if ever 150% ng credit limit ko, may unpaid balances pa din ako so baka lalong hindi umabot sa 250k+ (3 kami sa family).

Actually problem ko din yang credit card ko sa visa payment kasi 100k lang ang credit limit ng CC ko. Kaya ang gagawin ko pag mag lodge na ko ng visa mag advance payment ako over the counter ng 150k tas mag lodge ako ng visa same day. Btw BDO mastercard po ang credit card ko.

@MissOZdreamer may unpaid balance kasi ang cc ko. So baka kahit na ipa-increase ko ang limit hindi umabot, at lalo na hindi talaga pumayag dahil sa balance ko. Wala naman din ako kakilala na may malaki-laking credit limit. So I'm opting to pay via debit or prepaid.
