I uploaded a Certificate of English Language as Mode of teaching sa secondary and tertiary level. They will accept na kaya un?

Exemptions from English language proficiency
If your prospective employer is a standard business sponsor, you must meet the English language requirement for visa grant unless you fall into one of the following categories of exempted persons:
you are a passport holder from Canada, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom or the United States of America
you have completed at least five years of full-time study in a secondary or higher education institution where instruction was conducted in English
you are to be paid a salary for the duration of your visa that exceeds the English language requirement exempt amount and the grant of the visa is in the interests of Australia. The current salary level that is English language exempt is outlined in a legislative instrument
you are nominated for an occupation which will be performed at a diplomatic or consular mission of another country or an office of the authorities of Taiwan located in Australia
your occupation requires you to hold a licence, registration or membership and:
to be granted the licence, registration or membership you must demonstrate a level of English language proficiency that is equivalent to or better than the level described on the previous page (test/scores), and
you have been granted the licence, registration or membership.
If you are seeking an exemption from the English language requirement on the basis of completion of five years of study at a secondary and/or higher institution where the instruction was in English, you should also provide the following information with your visa application:
the name and location of the institution/s
the level of qualification/s
your official transcript from the secondary and/or tertiary institution
the number of contact hours of instruction per week delivered in English
the number of years of study.

@jema sa case ko, nag upload lang ako ng certificate of medium of instruction for my college years, which is 5 years na kasi eng'g... then dinagdagan ko lang ng HS na din..

Thank God, I manage to get sa HS at College ko ng certificate of medium of instruction so 9 yrs un.
plus i took IELTS exam with overall band score ko is 7, 6.5 is my min. grade pasok sya sa criteria ng immi

Provide evidence demonstrating your English language ability:
If you have already completed one of the following tests:
● International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
● Occupational English Test (OET)
● Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based test (TOEFL iBT)
● Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic test
● Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) test which was conducted on or after 1 January
2015.
Provide a copy of the test report form which indicates:
● an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall test score of at least
5.0 with a score of at least 4.5 in each of the four test components

The English language test must have been completed within three years of lodging your
application for a Subclass 457 visa.
If you have not completed an English language proficiency test conducted by one of these
providers in the last three years, provide evidence that you have a place confirmed in the
next available English language test conducted by one of these providers.
Alternatively, you can provide evidence that:
● you are a citizen of the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, New
Zealand or Ireland, and hold a valid passport issued by that country
● you hold the occupational registration, licence or membership that is required to perform
your nominated occupation and in order to gain that registration, licence or membership,
you were required to demonstrate a level of English that is equivalent to, or better than,
the level of English needed to achieve the scores in one of the English language tests
described above

Hi! Ask ko lang sa mga nag backdoor, nagkaproblem pa ba kayo sa AU immigration and hinanap yung oec or hindi na? After backdoor exit, sa AU na kayo kukuha ng OEC? Hindi ba tatanungin ng POLO kung bakit hindi sa Pinas kumuha ng OEC bago umalis? Thanks so much

@e123a_aus yan din sana ang tanong ko. May visa ka na ba? Ni-lodged sa MA ung 457 visa ko last June 6 pero hanggang ngayon wala pang grant. May backlog yata ngayon. Masyado ng delay pagprocess ng OEC. Kailan balak mo magtravel sa OZ?

@Carmz need ng validated contract, validated by nearest PH embassy/consulate sa location ng work, ung contract dapat kumpleto ng clauses na hinahanap nila, try to search sa POEA website standard contract for various skills.i checked today. not available. try mo pumunta sa office -Direct hire 2nd floor para makausap mo personally,mahirap makaconnect htru phone
ung friend ko nag backdoor exit sa malaysia as tourist kasi hirap makakuha ng OEC

Nag email ako sa POLO Australia ang sabi di na daw sila nagbibigay ng OEC for direct hire..Kailangan daw ang employer na magdaan sa mga agency sa pinas...Hay buhay kukuha na nga ng OEC ang OFW pahirapan pa nila...Eh lalo lang tayo ma-dedelay nito pag mag agency pa. Buti pa yong mga ibang lahi wala silang ganun.

Hi @switpotato, ask ko lang po kung until now hindi padin nagbibigay ng OEC ang POLO Australia sa direct hire? Pano po yun, if ever magbackdoor exit ako sa Malaysia wala na talagang chance na makakuha ako ng OEC? Need talaga dumaan sa agency? Thanks po

Ngayon ko lang na-realize kung bakit medyo insistent yung employer ko na onshore ako mag-lodge ng counterpart ko sa 457. Wala akong balita regarding sa mga problema sa OEC dati.

Kung totoo yung magbabayad ka ng 1 month salary sa local agency just to process the OEC sobra namang garapalan ang ganun.

@RuthLovely nagbibigay naman ng OEC ang POLO australia. Gusto natin na nagtratrabaho tayo sa legal na pamamaraan bat magdaan pa tayo sa agency? Wag ka magdaan sa agency kasi napakamahal. Saka di man ang agency ang nagpakahirap para mapunta ka Australia. Ikaw ang naghanap ng paraan para makakita ng work sa Australia...Aba! ang swerte ng agency pag ganun! Hindi sila yong naghanap ng paraan para makakita ka ng work sa OZ!
