@fedsquare try nya icheck sa vevo status using his PR visa details pag natapat na nasa AU kayo pag nagrant PR visa. kung onshore nakalagay then considered as activated na PR visa.

@albertus1982 since SG based ka din I think atleast x2.5-3 of your current salary will get you 3mos in AU.. Pede din na use the logic na x3 of your current living expenses in SG plus a slight buffer.. cguro take note na din na importante ang buffer na 1month na baon kasi kapag nagkawork tayo sa AU kelngan pa natin magwait ng 1month to get our 1st salary

I received an email today, i got an invitation from NSW. I checked NSW 190 Priority Skilled Occupation List (NSW 190 List) 2016-17, but my skill 263212 (ICT Support Engineer) is not on the priority list.

im confused if i should proceed to apply given that i was invited but im not on the priority occupation list?

@saolmatt hi, my understanding po NSW priority list e sa pagbibigay nila ng state sponsorship hindi sa visa application, since may invitation ka na tingin ko wala ng bearing yung. For visa priority list maybe this link helps

Grabe ang lake ng gastos sa visa processing pa lang tas mas malaki ang needed budget sa BM. Save pa more.hehe Di bale para naman ito sa future pede din kung may friend or family sa aus maki tira muna for a while habang naghahanap ng work

@Strader maganda yung breakdown ni @nehalem adjust mo nalang yung budget based sa no. of pax and living preferences e.g. renting whole unit dahil may dependents ka or kaya going for private rooms

@MissOZdreamer inclusive na commonly yung tubig/ilaw/internet kapag magrent ka ng private room sa fee.. pag whole unit naman, seperate mo babayaran

Just thinking aloud..

Maybe pwedeng iconsider yung mauna muna yung isa sa inyo, yun ang iniisip namin ni hubby if ever ma approve yung visa... para mas madali magadjust and mag focus sa paghahanap ng work. Good gauge na siguro yung 3 months to find a job pero sa totoo lang yung 2 weeks to 1 month noon baka adjustment period lang yun, based sa SG experience ika-2nd month lang talaga yung makakapag concentrate ko find a job.

Mga possible options pag may visa na

Scenario 1- Isa muna mauuna sa au> mag rent ng room>find a job>hanap ng house for rent, school for kids/family

Pros: mas matipid, less stress sa mga bata lalo na kung nagaaral sila malaking adjustment din kasi s bata yung new environment. Yung matitipid ay pwede ng pang down sa bahay if ever na magdecide na kayo kumuha ng housing loan

Cons: hindi mo makakasama spouse and/or family mo ng ilang months

Haha wala na akong time to write ung ibang scenario.. pang tanggal lang ng inip while waiting sa Visa.. cheers!
