Your thoughts on the NEW LIST OF ELIGIBLE SKILLED OCCUPATION as of April 19, 2017

Hi guys, may bagong release na list ang AU gov last april 19, 2017 regarding SOL and CSOL. Just like me, I know some of you stepping stone ang student visa for permanent residency. Gusto ko lang malaman insights niyo sa updated list especially na makakaaffect din 'to sa application ng PR in the future. What are your plans?

    Before coming over to Au to study, make sure that your nominated occupation is in SOL/CSOL; that after finishing your studies, it will lead to a Permanent Resident Pathway.
    Check the occupational ceiling for your nominated occupation. Estimate if you'll reach the required points specific for your nominated occupation. Note, that some occupations require you to have 70points in order to be invited. It definitely is a risk especially that sudden and drastic changes to immigration policies were introduced just recently.

    Nov 13, 2014 573 Visa Approved
    Mar 2015 Nursing Conversion Course (Deakin Uni) started
    April 13, 2016 Lodged EOI thru Skill Select
    April 27, 2016 Received invitation to apply for Visa 189 (Nurse)
    May 2, 2016 Lodged application for 189 Visa (Onshore)
    May 11, 2016 CO contacted for Form 80/Medicals of daughter
    June 17, 2016 189 VISA GRANTED Thank you my amazing God :)

    Dec14, 2017 Citizenship application
    March 21, 2019 Citizenship Ceremony :)
