He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Eventhough I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and i will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

@cheng1003 This has been addressed for many times in the forum. Nurses from the Philippines don’t meet Criteria 2 and 3 as you can see on the list below so there’s no need to submit those requirements. That’s why Nurses who studied in Ph need to study in the first place in order to meet these 2 criteria.

    Taken from AHPRA Website:
    Canada (nursing)
    Hong Kong (nursing)
Republic of Ireland (nursing and midwifery)
    United Kingdom (nursing and midwifery)
United States of America (nursing and midwifery)

Applicants who hold a nursing or midwifery qualification issued by an education institution in any of the countries listed above should still arrange for the relevant supporting documentation to be sent directly to AHPRA from the education institution (for criterion 2) and the authority or agency responsible for the accreditation or recognition of your program of study (for criterion 3).

These countries may qualify as well:.
Belgium - Flanders region (nursing and midwifery)
    Chile (nursing)
    Hong Kong (midwifery)
    Pakistan (nursing and midwifery)
    Papua New Guinea (nursing)
    Singapore (nursing and midwifery)

A friend told me that usually those who are from agencies are asked to comply with these requirements and not ahpra. Yung inaapply sa AHPRA is for registration as a Nurse here in Au but since hindi mameet yung Criteria 2 and 3 kaya nirerefer yung applicants to do Bridging Program. Hope this clarifies.

hello po, ask ko lang po sana kung kailangan ko bang kumuha nito:

The education institution that provided the program of study, and confirmed your qualification, has certified that you have successfully completed an assessment in medication management including:

    administration of medications (including calculations),
pharmacokinetics (the study of the bodily absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of drugs) and
pharmacodynamics (the study of the biochemical and physiological effects of drugs and the mechanisms of their action in the body).
As part of the certification, the education institution must provide information that clearly shows the medication management content you completed as part of the program of study.

or ung basic na RLE lang po will do?

@jjlara There’s no need to submit because Ph doesn’t meet the Au standards. Ang namemeet lang na criteria ng Ph Nurses ay yung 1, 4, 5 and 7.

No worries, as far as I know it wouldn’t matter kung sa Uni ka naggraduate or not. Ang mga magsesend lang ng docs na kagaya ng kinukuha sa CHED ay yung mga graduates of the following countries:
    Canada (nursing)
    Hong Kong (nursing)
Republic of Ireland (nursing and midwifery)
    United Kingdom (nursing and midwifery)
United States of America (nursing and midwifery)
Belgium - Flanders region (nursing and midwifery)
    Chile (nursing)
    Hong Kong (midwifery)
    Pakistan (nursing and midwifery)
    Papua New Guinea (nursing)
    Singapore (nursing and midwifery)

Yung mga graduates from the countries above, may qualify for direct registration without studying in Au kaya sila required which isn’t the case for Philippines kaya nagbibridging yung mga Nurses from Ph.

Good day! I am an NZRN who had worked for 6 months only before returning home in the Philippines. I have been in New Zealand for almost 4 years. I worked as an HCA for 3 years before becoming an NZRN. I am interested to work again overseas in Australia. Can someone please enlighten me on the possibility of me being able to work and live in Australia together with my wife? I am 28 years old and my wife is 27 turning 28 this year. My wife is also an RN who recently came home from the Middle East working as a Dental Nurse for 2 years.

@ace1990 Hi, if you are an NZ RN, i think you can register directly with AHPRA without studying in Au through the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act. If you are a PR holder of NZ, you need to apply for a Visa to live and work here in Au but if you are a NZ citizen then that’s another story.

@ace1990 Ahh, you can apply for 189 Visa if you want to become a PR here in Australia or you can try to look for an employer who will sponsor you and apply for the 457 Visa (TSS) which is a temporary visa but will have a pathway to PR if the rules don’t change. You can also look into State Sponsorship or 190 but you’ll have to check if you’ll meet the requirements for each of the individual states.
