    Hi folks, ask ako ng advise. Last May 16, i got an invitation from NSW to apply based from my EOI. I submitted an application. But then after 2 days (May 18) i received a response from NSW for further information regarding my skills assessment from ACS. Meron pala skilled date which made my points not eligible for subclass 190 (I unintentionally misunderstood my acs skills assessment result, thought I have 9 years credited).

    so i lost hope since I cant appeal anymore to acs since its past 60 days. I was expecting that my application for invitation for NSW will be denied dahil i never submitted further information.

    But yesterday (June 23). I received an invitation from NSW to lodge a visa. ang question ko po, should i lodge a visa knowing that i lack points for subclass 190?

    Your ACS assessment indicates that:

    The following employment after October 2012 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately

    need advice po, thinking what visa to target

    visa 489 [with 60 points] + 10 = 70 points
    or
    visa 190 [with 60 points] + 5 = 65 points

    san po may pag asa? I'm a programmer developer and sa pagkakaalam ko po 70 points na need to be invited. :( ok lng po kya mag visa 489 and how many years should I wait to apply again for 190 and 189 in case na makakuha po ako ng invite sa visa 489? thanks po ng marami, GOD bless.

    @Supersaiyan i think much better mag 489 ka, kasi as per current news and updates, DIBP is pushing for no PR grant next year, so compulsory na magkakaroon ng 2 years provisional visa bago makapag apply ng PR...

    by that time you will be eligible for PR visa if nagka 489 ka na, at well aligned ka sa plans ng DIBP...

    and for your points parang pahirapan kahit 190 invite, kasi 70 pointers usually naiinvite...

    just my opinion kabayan...

    Or a prepaid card for that matter? From which local bank? ☺️

    @MikeYanbu hi. Yes, I went to Unionbank and they said Eon card is not available for the moment since they are changing all cards to chip card. But I'll try with other branches.
    Recently lang po kayo gumamit nito for fee payment?

    @MikeYanbu hello. Nabasa ko nga din po ang news na yan. Kaya instead na mag aim pa ko for superior PTE nagdecide na ko mag apply for visa 489. Kasi di ko alam kelan ako makakasuperior baka abutin pa ko next year and mareach na ceiling.

    @MikeYanbu I went to unionbank today. No eon cards yet. They did not issue one to me. They suggested that i get their new Get-Go card. Same lang daw with eon.
    But I'm not sure if it's okay for visa fee payment.

    @Supersaiyan as per recent PTE 2 years yata ang validity nyan, sa IELTS ang pagkaka alam ko recommendation nila after 2 years mag rtake, pero d sinasabi na expired na, ewan ko sa PTE kung ganun din....

    Hirap magdecide. Malapit na deadline ko problema ko pa ung method of payment. Credit card is already out of the picture (not sure if maitataas ang credit limit ko, sa 150% ang itataas).

    @jacjacjac find someone may na mataas na credit limit. naging issue ko din yan kc ung limit ng debit card ko 100k lng pwede. ung credit card ko di din abot ung limit. so nakigamit ako ng CC ng iba.

    September 6, 2017 = Received positive EA assessment, lodged EOI (489 Family sponsored - 60 pts)
    September 21, 2017 = Took PTE exam
    September 22, 2017 = Received PTE results (LRSW- 90/90/90/90), lodged 189 EOI (60 pts), updated 489 FS EOI (70 pts)
    September 26, 2017 = Lodged 190 EOI (NSW) 65 pts

    1 year wait... still no EOI invite. Decided to pursue student visa instead

    October 15, 2018 = offer letter from school
    November 8, 2018 = Medical exam (St. Lukes)
    November 20, 2018 = Paid for tuition
    Novemeber 28, 2018 = Received COE
    December 2, 2018 = Lodged visa, after 1 min, granted!

    Feb 4 2019 = arrived to Perth

    2020

    Jan 2020 = Age increased to 30 pts
    Jan 20 2020 = Took NAATI
    Jan 26 2020 = Results for NAATI (passed) +5 pts
    Jan 27 2020 = lodged EOI 491 Family
    Feb 10 2020 = invited finally!
    Oct 8 2020 = 491 granted

    2023

    Oct 8 2023 = 191 Lodged
    Oct 30 2023 = 191 granted

    2024
    Oct 31 2024 - Lodged citizenship application
    Dec 11 2024 - Received test invite for Feb 18 2025 (Was able to reschedule it to the next day!)
    Dec 12 2024 - Citizenship exam
