Your already making an appeal after an assessment so better have the documentations/ letter/ other attachment to be notarised or certified by your registrar/dean whichever is more easier/ practical. But up to you, hehe. Importante nga ung substance na nanjan kasi jan magbased ung CPAA whether your appeal is reasonable. Its still a decision call from CPAA.

Hi! I've been reading this forum and i'm also planning to submit application for assessment. Dun naman po sa may documents mapping ng accounting subjects to course descrptions.. Baka naman pede makahingi ng sample. Kelangan ba ang imamap lang yung 12

It is not required but it will probably help the assessing body to give you a favourable assessment...

Hi @lai,wla pa msyadong na.accomplish bale dis sat.pa q hihingi ng mga syllabus sa skul and pa.authenticate ng TOR. Passport nmin ng anak ko is sa 20 pa i.claim. All PRC related docs naman is on feb.13 ko pa aasikasuhin.

Ikaw kamusta na docs mo? Sana maging ka.batch tayo. O baka patapos ka na?

Hindi na @lai, sayang din yung ibabayad e guidance lng nman ata maibibigay ng agent. Ng rereview na ko ngayon. March 15 ko plano mg.exam. I started my appli kasi sa CPAA nung January tapos kelangan ng ielts..i have 6 months lang pra mbalikan ko pa yung appli ko.

Why not applied for IELTS remarking sa take 3 mo. Writing and speaking grading is subjective so mas malaki chance n ma remark. Ung listening and reading wala chance as it was objective exam and may exact answers n kaya di nagbago score mo for remarking on your early ielts.

I think I've read something about this before, sa mga forums din ata. While, indeed, there is a surplus of accounting graduates in OZ, yung needs naman ng most companies are those with specialties na (management accountant, financial planning, internal audit, etc.), not just fresh grads. For us still waiting to be in OZ (or visa to be approved as of this writing), that remains to be seen though, hehe. Sabi din ng friend ko, as early as two years ago, narinig na nya to kaya tumigil sya sa pag process.

@TasBurrfoot Thanks man. I actually backread and noted how you and your wife came up with the mapping of subjects. I'm trying to do the same now as our Accounting Theory was really spread out in most of our Accounting subjects. I believe we have aptly covered the subject. How elaborate was your mapping by the way, if u can still remember prolly in terms of the number of pages? Did CPAA immediately assess it positively?

I apologize if I ask too many questions. I'm really trying to milk every info I can get here to get things right. Again man, thank you for all the inputs you've made in this forum. You dont know how much help it gives to people like me.

It was very elaborate...

2 page ang main part ng letter; 4 column table with below details;
1>> first column being the topic under the accounting theory course in CPAA
2>> second column was the course code which my wife has taken wherein column 1 was tackled
3>> third column was the course name for column 2
4>> page number in the syllabus submitted where #1 and 2 are located

attachment namin to the main letter was the the relevant pages in column 4; highlighted where the main description where column 1 was discussed. all in all 20 page sya to be exact. not notarised or anything as this was a self-made letter naman to assist in the main documents that were submitted.

hope you are able to visualise this; i just saw the doc again after more than a yr so i decided to share this...

CPAA assessed it positively immediately... well, after around a month of waiting. all 12 courses were credited and all work experience were acknowledged as related.

the more information, the better.

@TasBurrfoot thank you very much for this. i'll try to work on this really carefully and as detailed as I can so CPAA is convinced that I took the subject already. Yeah, with what you gave, I can visualize it really well.

I will keep you posted on what happens in the next few days so that others who are going through the same thing will also be able to get guidance.

Hi! Ask ko lang if CPA lang ba pwedeng magpa assess sa CPAA? Meron din ba dito na nakakuha ng positive assessment kahit hindi CPA? Accounting graduate lang ako with more than 10 years working experiences (Accounting related).
