@danyan2001us Hi Dan definitely I'll bring my wife with me kung itutuloy ko to. Another question if you don't mind, since your wife is taking up Masters in Professional Accounting, was she a graduate of accounting here in Manila? And how long is her course there in Melbourne?

@attila sis/bro, pardon but I might answer some of your queries since ako looking forward to be a 2015 student din getting MPA. iyong mga current students getting MPA now are in 1.5 years, pero may ruling ngayon na dapat 2 years. Iyong program for professional accounting are for non-accountants but some school may requirement sila na dapat from non-accounting background/degree, some ok lang kahit may accounting degree. There is this two programs that i am looking for in 2 schools if you are interested, which is Master in Accounting practice offered in Griffith [Brisbane] and CSU Study Centre Melbourne. Wherein requirement tlga dun is you have to be an accounting graduate, and assessed by CPAA pa coz at the end of the program you will have to take the exam sa professional level.

@tin1289 I believe you can check it thru your My Immiaccount but I think sa mga nglodge online lang yun. Best way is to check with your agent kasi sila ang unang icocontact if you opted for their services.

@attila ...ok lang bro...just share whatever questions you have in mind and i'm ready to help........anyway ang mrs ko ay graduate ng accounting sa davao....at ang course niya dito sa melbourne ay 2 years yan ngayon ang masters of commerce (professional accounting) to be an accountant here later on....then before that one, nagtapos siya dito rin sa melbourne ng advanced diploma in accounting which was 2 years.....

@agentKams thanks for chipping in...accounting grad ka ba? ako kasi hindi, though my career has been in finance so accounting is the closest course that I can take

@danyan2001us just wondering, if she was an accounting grad, bat di pa siya dumiretso nag-apply for a skilled visa? for me, since I am not an accounting graduate, my plan is to take an undergrad course in accounting. Yun nga lang, my wife won't be able to work unlimited hours

im studying bachelor of nursing here in oz and i just started last march

honestly, d aq nkaipon for my fees for this semester kasi nga d kaagad aq nkahanap ng work.. I got a job 2ndweek of april na as a waitress sa chinese resto and last may i was hired as a dental assistant

kunti lg naipon q so my parents had to send me money for my 2nd semester. Maraming work available dito bsta d ka lg choosy and you just have to be patient

whenever someone asks me, i always say na f ever mgaaral ka dto for bachelor degree, July intake is the safest entry kasi matagal pa ang next sem mo.. Youve got heaps of time to save money for your fees and you have summertime to work full time

@santosjed21 if you had your medical first before lodgement like what i did, just give you form with the Hap id on it during the lodgement. Usually and hospital na ngppdala ng result sa immi. and if ngmedical ka after lodgement, theyll be notified directly with your results

hi friends! question lang po, gusto ko talaga magenroll sa early child education sa australia (vocational course) pero ang course ko nung college is hrim and ang job ko is office job - di din related. Sa tingin nyo po marereject ung application ko? meron na po ba dito na naapprove ung visa kahit na ndi related na course? tnx

@agentKams @danyan2001us by checking the masters courses unis offer, you can enroll even if you were not an accounting grad. kala ko kasi before hindi siya pwede. however, will a masters degree in accounting be enough to apply for a skilled visa even if you didn't have a bachelor's degree in accounting?

@attila before ka naman maglodge ng skilled visa you need to have your nominated skills assessed pa naman, for us CPAA/IPA/ICAA do that. so if you take masters, i think masatisfy naman requirements nung subjects needed kasi most MPA programs are accredited by CPAA/IPA/ICAA. have you looked sa accountant thread dito? try mo magbasa dun baka may case nung sayo na hindi naman accounting grad but may accounting background sa work.

@attila ..thanks...oo graduating na siya by november this year....and yes kapag nakatapos ka ng masters of commerce (professional accounting) pwede ka na mag apply ng skilled visa or pr...basta ang tandaan mo dapat pasado ka sa australian stufdy requirement which is 2 years.....so if yong nabanggit na masters of professional accounting na 1.5 years you will not be qualified to apply for pr.....not unless you have a prior course just like in the case of my wife na may 2 years siya na advanced diploma in accounting dito sa melbourne.....

@attila ..another thing that you can do is to contact the school that you have chosen then let them assess your credentials and if positive, they will tell you to proceed with your enrolment ..this is done by giving you the letter of offer....

@laydy88 .....alam mo medyo mahirap yong tanong mo kasi hindi naman natin alam ang mind ng CO who will be handling your application. SO it s not in our hands to say "yes" or "no" sa magiging takbo ng application mo...at the end it will come out as a gamble on your part knowing that one of those criteria in applying for a student visa in OZ is yong kukunin mo na kurso dito ay related sa course mo dyan sa atin sa pinas at even your background should also be related....so if you will decide to apply with that particular scenario at hand, then everything falls on the hands of the assigned CO whether your application will be given a positive outcome or the other way around.....

ung mga masters of professional accounting na nakita ko, 2 years lahat ang length of study and they accept non-accounting grads so at least hindi na siya problem. what i need to know next is if having a non-accounting undergrad + masters in professional accounting will make me eligible to apply for pr as accountant. will do more research and ask more inquiries

hi guys! I just lodged awhile go sa VFS. I'm getting a 6 month course lang po 572 lang siya certificate 3 and 4 in fitness. When po usually nag acknowledge ang embassy na na receive na po nila and docs and may CO na? Usually po ba how long na grant kapag 572? My commencement po kasi is October 3. Sana ma grant...

When you lodge your application today, VFS pools your application with others and sends it the next day in the morning.

@danyan2001us boss. Dan maiba lang po ako ang rules po ba ng australian immigration nagpapalit po ba sila ng rules every july 1 ng taon kasi po diba magpapa move kami ng intake ng jan 2015 baka bigla kasi magpalit ng rules ang immigration? Salamat po and god bless to all.

Hi po. Ilan pcs po ng bag ang pwede dalin? Ill bring 3 po. 1 luggage 1 hand carry 1 personal bag. Okay lang p kaya?

check with your airline.. haha! pero that's probably alright as long as you are within the allowance which is probably at least 30 kgs when travelling with a full service airline. Remember bring jackets, sweaters, long sleeves, and other fleece- or flannel-laden clothes.. haha

@danyan2001us Hi guys. Tanong ko lng po. matagal ba makuha results sa medical exam? Dapat ba nakuha mo na results before you lodge or yun medical examiner mag pass sa results online?

if you are lodging any time soon, wait for the request from the embassy because they will issue you a HAP id. Requests will be uploaded and linked with your HAP id, so just follow-up with your clinic if the results have been uploaded already.

If your lodging many weeks or months in advance, you can do your labs beforehand. Just do a my health declarations form, and they will issue your own HAP id. Having two HAP ids while on the visa processing stage, and still waiting for the results, might delay your application cause they have to link the right HAP id with your account.

@attila ...sa tingin ko hindi nila tatanggalin ang accountant sa SOL dahil ang accounting ay isa sa napakarami na students dito at ang international students ay 11% sa revenue nila .....two years ago pa yan sinasabi nila na tatanggalinnila ang accountant but until now andyan pa rin....on the other hand, yong body na nag evaluate sa accountant at iba na occupations ang tinanggal nila.....

pwede ka naman magstart from bookkeeper, sales, etc pa akyat. just like some nurses start from aged care workers going up the ladder. I guess. hehe
