Current assessment turnaround time
Regularly updated advice on the dates of applications under current process may be sought by sending a blank email to [email protected] with the sole word 'Status' in the email subject line. You will receive an automatic response.

Generally, for:

Non-accredited qualifications – turnaround is currently about 13 weeks from the date of receipt. Note this time can be highly variable depending on numbers of incoming applications
Accredited Australian and Accord qualifications – currently about 8 weeks.
Please do NOT contact Engineers Australia within these timeframes, as it will further delay processing times for all applications.

Much better follow nalang natin baka naman kasi madelay pa tayo dahil dyan. Tama ka nakakanerbyos. Kaya follow nalang naten rules nila.

Sino po ang ECE graduate dito kahit hindi ece? non-licensed(hindi kasi ako board passer).. Ask lang po sana ano at pano ang pwede gawin na steps to apply for a work sa australia? Visa type? Costs?

may impact ba sa assesment ung CoE? Kasi sa CoE ko nakalagay is SOFTWARE ENGINEER ako pero ang Main job ko talaga is Technical Lead(Telecom Engineer). Ayaw kasi palitan ng nyeta namin HR un position title ko sa CoE. Pero yung sa isa kong CoE tama ang nakalagay which is Field Engineer.

I have less than 3 years (2 years 8 months to be exact) work experience in telecommunications industry as field engineer(8months) and technical lead(2 years) position.

Pwede din po ba makahingi ng sample ng CDR nyo? Gusto ko po talaga kasi mapursue ang australia at makapag start ng application. sana po may sumagot. Thanks

Yung IELTS results lang po ang dapat send through the testing center. The rest you need to a Certified True Copy then send by yourself. Download the Booklet from Engineers Australia for the details.

@btarroja213 thanks po for the info. Binabasa ko kase yung Section A no. 5, sabe po dun:
"5. Certification of Copies of Documents
You must provide certified true copies of your original degree/diploma testamur (certificate) and any other subsequent engineering qualifications together with their associated academic transcripts (list of subjects studied and results obtained). Do not send the course syllabus.
Certified copies are to be produced direct from the original documents, which the Certifier must sight. An original document is usually different from a photocopy or other reproduction. An original may often contain an official logo, seal, stamp or watermark, or may include a handwritten signature. Please note that colour scanned emailed or facsimile copies are not accepted. The certified copies bearing the Certifier's actual signature must be sent as hardcopy by post (or courier)."

So hindi po necessary na manggaling sa school basta kung nasa iyo na ngayon, sa EA na direct na ipadala

lahat ng docs to be sent to EA ay dapat certified true copies, merong format dun sa website kung ano dapat nakalagay sa CTC... except lang for IELTS TRF kase you need to have this sent directly to BartonACT, di pwedeng CTC ng ielts mo... ;-)

hindi namn naka indicate if need na licensed ka. Nagbabase namn sila sa academic qualifications. Read it thoroughly. Also, I think better if you have more work experience para higher ang points mo for work experience. I hope this helps.

@melrose If sa October 2014 ka pa magpapasa ng CDR sa EA, at Feb 2015 ka pa mag susubmit, Mukang aabot ka pa yun lang saktong sakto lang bago ka mag bday. Madaming slots para sa Electrical Engineers, abot yan.

Wait bakit alam mo na date ng EA assessment skills sa credit card na October 7?

Nabawasan din ako ng 5 pts nung naglodge ako ng eoi dahil sa age. Naging option ko ay partner's skills + 5pts.

hi good day. I already submitted my CDR to EA last 5oct and I am currently waiting for the assessment. My nominated skill is electrical engineer. EA already charged my credit card.
As of now, I have 60pts, zero points kasi ako sa IELTS S-6.5, L/R-7.5, W-7. Realistic pa ba na mkahabol ako sa 60pts knowing sa turn-around time na 13weeks sa EA? When kailanganin ang 60points sa EOI or sa Visa application?
By Feb2015 maging 15pts nlng ang age ko kasi mag 33y.o. and maging 55pts nlang ako which leaves two options for me. First, Retake IELTS para mka kuha ng additional 10pts and get 65pts. Second, go for state nomination para mka kuha ng additional 5 points. Any inputs is very much appreciated. Thank you.

If 3 years experience po , kailangan ka munang kumuha ng IELTS kasi magkukulang ka sa pts. Bale po sa IELTS ka kukuha ng needed pts mo para maging 60 pts.

Eto po ang skill points mo sa far.

Work experience - 5 pts
Age - 30 pts
Education - 15
IELTS -?

Thanks! Anong score ba sa IELTS ang need ko makuha para magkaron ako ng additional 10pts.? Meron din po ba additonal points kung may partner ka sa australia na citizen na pero hindi pa kayo kasal? I have a gf kase sa oz..

Yun po bang pagpilo ng state or territory ako un mamili kung san ko gusto or sila un magbibigay?

Pwede rin po ba makahingi ng sample ng cdr if ok lang?
How much din po pala ang total cost ng assesment?

hi, tanong ko lang sino po ba ang nag lodge ng CDR last june/july
malapit na kasi lumabas kung sa 13week turn around time.

Hello fellow engineers. Anyone po who knows if PRC i.d is a must when submitting reqs for skill assessment to EA? Kasi po expired ang license/i.d ko but i have PRC certification and BOARD rating document. Un lang po ksi ang concern q now. Due to time, work, and bit of health concern (snusumpong mnsan ng hyperventilation), d pq mkaluwas ora mgparenew.

Anyone po who aubmitted only the prc cert and board rating without ID na hindi nman hinanapan at nagpositive ang assessment? Pls share insights po.

@wizardofOz: sir, ako hindi ko pa natanggap yung outcome letter ko. When I contacted the assessor, may bayad pag mag rerequest ka ng panibagong copy. Sa case ko kasi hindi sa Pinas ang address dito sa Abu Dhabi and PO Box ang address dito. Good thing though kasi binalik sa kanila yung mail ng outcome letter ko with a stamp na invalid PO Box, turned out nagkamali sila ng type ng address ko. So to be sure na matatanggap ko yung Outcome Letter ko inaddress ko na lang sa sister ko who is in Sydney and pinascan ko na lang sa kanya.

Check niyo na lang po ulit sa post office. To avoid paying additional charges for a reprinting.

i think importante PRC license especially if you are practicing sa pinas.
pero i guess kung wala ka talgang time, pwede naman un PRC cert and board rating..
submit mo na rin para tumakbo na ang process for 16wks..

in cse hanapin ng assessing officer.. they will contact you naman..
