Starting up / Owning a Business in Australia. Any experiences/inputs/success stories?

IslanderndCityIslanderndCity AdelaidePosts: 2,274Member, Moderator
Moving to Australia as PRs or employer sponsored
doesn't always mean we will be working as employees until age 60~65.
Few of us might have the burning passion
to be the boss of our own at a younger/stronger age 39~...
Any experiences/inputs/success stories so far?

Assessed Occupation: Industrial Engineer (IE 233511)
Achieved Goal: Australia PR (Permanent Resident). Thanks God!

Cheapest I can find is $6 haircut.
    http://yzzymae.blogspot.com.au/2014/08/boy-kuripot-tip-of-day-cheap-haircut_27.html

    Pag pinoy, nasa $25+

In terms of quality of service, mas ok pa rin sa pinoy.

Maraming mga asian/chinese mostly into remdial massage. KAdalasan nakikita ko parang mga student. Madalas kasi may ari ng mga health massage are chinese.

Maganda business ang health massage kasi kasama sa cover ng extra ng Private health insurance and Remedial massage> Either used your entitlement or loose it.

with this idea, do you think kailangan pa ng 'physical' office mo? or as long as your biz is legally registered and ikaw na bahala sa marketing strategy mo, ok na? ;)

normally what's the scope sa i-clean po nila? then is it a must na mayroon din sila 'physical' na office?

@IslanderndCity Nope, no need for a physical office, in fact many of them register their home address as their business address kapag kumukuha ng ABN. Scope of work includes weekly or fortnightly cleaning ng common property - sweeping/mopping of floors, pag-rake ng leaves, pag-trim ng hedges, punas-punas ng onti. Tapos may additional cost kapag ilalabas yung rubbish bins at lilinisin after collection, usually weekly yan. Cost ng cleaner ang materials and chemicals. Depende sa size eh, we have blocks of 2 upto mga 30+ units.

Ideas: cakes and pastries / bread
