By the way, first time po namin mag Singapore Airlines pauwi sa Pinas, magkalapit lang po ba ang Terminal 2 and 3? Ung Arrival namin sa SG wala kasi nakalagay kung saang Terminal lalapag. Pero yung Departure from SG to Manila ang nakalagay ay Terminal 2.

Terminal 2 and 3 sa Pinas? Yup, magkatapat lang yun, pero mas convinient sa Terminal 3 in terms of taxi tska malapit sa skyway

Booked ticket via Qantas.
Tip, meron din palang super saver fares ang qantas. From a base fare of 30k, we got it for 16k (savings of 14k PHP), 30kg plus 10kg for migrants.
This is for February.

@bookworm how much po total yun fare nyo sa Qantas? Yun all-in fare na po?

@johnvangie For MNL-SYD-CBR, total is about 27kPHP. Total baggage is 40kg.
Reasons for taking Qantas:
-This is the only airline with connecting flight to CBR.
-We don't want to be carrying all that luggage from one airport to another, or bus, or train. Eventually, we can, but not for this first time move.

@peach17 - magkatabi sila... pwede mo lakarin, pwede din mag monorail which is libre naman. Sydney and Melbourne departure and arrival are in Terminal 3 and yeah lahat ng going/arriving Pinas na SQ will be in Terminal 2.

Uy parehas pala tayo nag scoot. Pero cebupac to sg ako january naman. Mejo mas mahal lang kasi peak season yata january. Update mo naman ako kung ano experience mo with scoot

Ah Canberra bound ka pala.
PAL kami, 21355/pax including travel tax, 40kg din.
Melbourne bound naman kami.
Kaya naman nag PAL kami kasi walang direct flight to Melbourne ang Qantas.

Just booked mla-syd feb 7 for 17,551 with 40kg baggage allowance. Reason fir choosing nman cebu pac eh for sure by the time na makakuha ng tourist visa mom ko mura parin sya compared to other airlines hehe

Nasubukan mo na tingnan ang cebu pacific ? May direct flight sila.
May oprin ka pa na kumua hg baggage at meal.

Looking for reasonably priced ticket to Melbourne for first week of February 2015. My Dilemma:

Qantas
Php61k for 2 adults, 1 child (Feb4); 30kg baggage each.

**Since I am currently abroad, pag nagbook ba ko online need ko pa magpakita personally sa PH office nila for verification? Can I ask a relative to book on our behalf and just pay cash?

Meron po ba sa inyo na nasa ibang bansa at nagbook recently sa Qantas?

Php54k for 2 adults, 1 child (Feb5); 23kg baggage each (not sure kung pati child 23kg din).

I have another concern: I'll be using my credit card to purchase my ticket kaso pag balik ko sa pinas from abroad, ipapacut ko na sya. Hindi ba ko magkakaproblema pag-alis ko sa Feb? Sabi sa pal website:

To avoid fraudulent transactions and to protect credit card owners, PAL reserves the right to require that the credit card used in purchasing the ticket(s) online be presented at the ticket collection point, upon check-in or in cases of reissuance, rebooking or refund of a ticket.

@kenshusei I recently paid for Qantas from abroad. I had to remit my money to their account. But after that, it was ok. They will also give you additional 10kg baggage if you have PR visa.
