@manofsteel pede sila mag provide ng assistance to assess if your occupation is qualified with the Australian standards or you still need some training. pero kung na-assess ka naman ng assessing body ng oz at nagrant ng visa then tingin ko qualified ka na.

or if you choose to enroll a course meron silang mga funded courses for PR. yung session na lang n every tuesday na fortnightly para yun sa resume and cover letter building.

magandang araw sa inyo! 1 week pa lang ako dito sa adelaide, dito ako sa portrush, pinadala lang ako ng company ko sa pinas for training, wala akong makita ditong pinoy, san ba mga pinoy nagiipon ipon? chaka pano ba sumakay ng bus papuntang beach at city? please advise naman po. salamat. ito nga po pala email ko. @fgs Hello po!Kumusta po ang Adelaide?Visa 489 din po a-apply-an namin.Di pa kami nakapag lodge.Hopefully end of this month medyo kinulang lang sa pondo.Hehe...Tanong ko lang po,ano mga conditions ng 489 visa nyo?Pwede po ba e activate lang visa,punta dyan before IED,tapos balik sa country of origin to settle things and para mas makaipon pa?Pwede kaya po yun?

@G_australia All 489 visa have the same conditions..live and work in regional areas(includes Adelaide), can apply for PR after 2 years residence provided may 1 year full-time work(at least 35 hrs a week)...You can activate your visa on or before the date specified sa visa grant letter and balik sa pinas to settle things and ipon.. I suggest, ipon ka muna para pag naapproved tuloy tuloy na---IED and settle here in Au kasi 4 years lang validity ng visa which starts on the date of visa approval...medyo mahirap maghanap work these time and be prepared na not in line with your skills..if you can go for 190 or 189 visa mas ok para di mo na alalahanin yong work condition for PR application...Hope this helps..

@fgs Thank you po sa info.Pero di ba may changes na ngayon?Parang yung 20 or 25hours per week considered na nila as full-time requirement for PR?Meron na din ngayon na from 489 pwede na din mag-apply ng 190 pag na change na yung circumstances mo.

@G_australia saan mo nakuha yang info na yan? In june may temporary program na ginawa ang SA for 489 visa na pwede apply for 190 provided na may at least 20hrs per week work..this i reapplication-ibig sabihin sponsor ka uli ng state at dadaan ka uli sa process ng immigration Au at magbabayac ng the same application fee..(SA lang nagtrial nito at wala na ngayon)

@fgs Opo.Dun ko nakita sa news & events page ng SA website.Di ko lang po sure kung wala na to kasi the last time I checked,tinawagan ko SA and sabi ng info officer na continuos daw naman.Yun nga lang,same process.And same din babayaran.Kaya sabi nya it's much better to just wait for 2 years after arrival & have a 1-year FT job then apply for 887 visa which is yung pathway nga po for 489 holders.Sabi nya naman,there will definitely be a PR pathway visa for 489 holders,it might not be 887 na daq cguro yung # pero definitely meron daw.Hehe...Nakakatakot kasi anytime pwede sila mag change ng immigration rules.

I think so, its worth giving a try.. for Subclass 489. Anyway the required score is 60, although the higher score the better rank you get to get an EOI invitation.

"You must score at least 60 points against points test factors to be eligible to be invited to apply for this visa."

Hello sa mga kababayang pinoy, 1 week pa lang ako dito... Meron bang available na jobs kahit tuwing weekends lang, kumita lang ng konti, napostponed kse yung work na pinuntahan ko dito, sa last week of nov pa magstart... Medyo mahirap at paubos na ang budget

Hello all. I am thinking of making a bold move. I am located here in Western Sydney. Right now casual jobs pa lang trabaho ko. And my dream is to buy my own house in the future whenever that will be. But the real estate prices here in NSW is depressing. An old house will cost you 300k at least. Brand new will cost you at least 500k. And even if you have the dp, mahirap pa din because of so many buyers. Can I ask how much yung mga bahay in Adelaide? I am thinking of going there and starting a life there if owning a house will be more plausible than staying here and work for rent. And one more, how is the job market? Anyway di naman ako maselan sa trabaho. As long as meron. I am willing to change careers if needed.

@G_australia sa transport ang masasabi ko lang mag avail na po kayo ng non pro license dyan sa pinas mahirap po mag rely sa public transport dito lalo kung nag work na. yan ang di ko nagawan ng action dati kaya eto naka learner's permit ako april pa ako makakapag P license waaahhhh
