@ImB hi, ask ko lang, how do you find the acad IELTS exam in terms of level of difficulty? meron ka bang reading materials na ginamit for reading exam? may passages, topics or questions ba na naulit sa actual exam? thanks!

@bernaabad hello, agree with this. You should be ok with Cambridge. Cambridge 1-9 yung ginamit ko apart from youtube videos and some reading and research from the internet.

As far as difficulty is concerned, mahirap sya (failed ako nung una) particularly writing and speaking for me so I spent lots of time practising. Yup me naulit sa actual exam yung question sa writing.

Tama si @vhoythoy, punta ka sa ielts thread, daming tips dun at materials.

do grades matter in the CPAA assessment?

@toeberries123 Hi. Probably, but only to a certain extent perhaps.

Wala naman kasing requirement ang CPAA na kailangan ganto yung grades mo or you need to have this academic awards.

Ako nga kahit pasang awa sa board at mga accounting subjects nung college pumasa sa assessment nila hihihi.

I think what matters most eh whether you can satisfy them that the subjects you have taken in College are comparable dun sa Australian degree nila and that is why your syllabus, mapping, etc. are absolutely essential.

We can't say but you can include that support but personally i don't think its sufficient enough.

Best evidence of paid employment are:
    1) payslips (indicating the date/ amount/ your name/ position/ signed by authorised representatives/ with company name/ or computer generated
    2) BIR 2316/ income summary/ signed by your company representatives (you can request from BIR)
    3) Signed employment contract/ letter of promotion/ salary increase (not best but can help)

    Your COE must have but not limited to;
    1) Printed in Company letter head/ with company logo/ contact number
    2) signed by authorised personnel
    3) includes your name, position, work hours, salary
    4) jobs tenure
    5) detailed job scope/ descriptions

If thats the case you have a good chance. depends kung ano nasa bank statement. If they can clearly shows that you received salary on consistent basis and shows your company and your name. baka pwede na. besides assesor can verify it with your employer. No one actually know the answer coz it depends on CO's/assesor. san stage ka naba? tapos ka naba sa CPAA? ngaun lang kasi ako naka encounter na bank statement ang isusubmit in lieu of usual payslips/summary of income from tax agencies

Ah ok.

hello po, our visa has been granted just last week. Praise God!
We applied for Accountant (General). We were one of those who had an issue with the accounting theory subject as per CPAA assessment. We submitted mapping with supporting documents of pages from the book but still they didn't give positive assessment. The only thing that changed their decision is the IFRS certification that we also submitted. But the IFRS was completed only Dec 2013 which means the 8years work experience was not recognized. We were short of points based on CPAA assessment not recognizing the 8yrs.

There's a similar case here, I think CPAgirl and she took the risk and got her visa. We also consulted migration agent and he told us that it was really a big risk and the case officer might request the work experience assessment from CPAA. Big amount of money also involved since we are family.

We took the risk and the case officer just requested to submit additional pay slips, one for each year from 2009-2013. Thank God and Praise God!

Thanks for this website and for the people sharing the information.

Hi po sa lahat! I'm new to this forum since I'm planning on migrating to Australia. My only concern po is sa mga supporting documents to be submitted sa CPAA. Clarify ko lang po:
    1. Diploma
    2. Transcript of Records
    3. Syllabus
    4. Certificates of Employment

And to send certified true copies, kahit scanned copy lang sila and na-notarize pwede na po ba?

    Thanks in advance!

For the employment supporting docs, do we need to submit the original or certified true copies as well?
