Haha. Napunta sa usapang parking fee..
Dito sa perth between $2-$4 per hour ang parking fee..

If you will be working sa city at meron malapit na train mula sa bahay nyo, park sa train station ($2 whole day) and then use the train..

@lock_code2004 hello bossing.

Mahal nga yung per hour, yung $2 whole day ok na. Dito sa dxb, I pay almost $5 for parking whole day.

Haha..

Napuno namin flat namin salamat sa Salvos! Haha.. Lol.. Sobrang laki ng savings namin dahil dito.

Ininvite na po kita kuya. Sige antay kita bago ako magresign.. Haha..

Balitaan mo kami sa progress nyo..:)

    @catajell, ano yung Salvos?

Nakakaexcite nga yang me bagong sasakyan makakapasyal kayo kung saan saan.

@ImB Salvos and aking bagong paboritong puntahan! Hahaha..

@catajell, first happy new year to you and to all ext auditoris/accountants here! :)

    1) In terms of work pressure and load, alin po ang mas mabigat, Sa PH or AU?
    2) In terms of marketability, alin po ang mas madaling ma hire sa AU, External Audit or General Accounting?
    3) If ang experience mo dito sa PH is purely External Audit, puwede po bang ma hire sa AU as General Accountant?

Salamat po sa mga sasagot. Nag babalak po kasi ako mag shift ng career from GA to EA.

lols walang sumasagot sau. Ako nlang based sa experience ko and kahit wala pa ako sa Australia.

    1) 6 years ako nag work sa auditing firm sa pinas, isang mid tier isang big 4. Dito sa Singapore almost 3 years nman. Australia obviously wala pa. Work pressure and load, sagot is depende.

During my early years as external auditor sa pinas (mid tier firm), I've experience 5 straight days na overnight, tulog ko a day is around 30mins-1 hour lang. Its really hard to beat that really and ayoko na maexperience ulit. I doubt sa australia i will experience that madness with only 8,500 pesos monthly salary LOL.

    2) I think external audit, and obviously kung sa audit firm ka rin mag apply. Mas required kasi local experience sa general accountant roles, and i assume sa external audit hindi masyado and di lahat gusto mag work sa firm at bumalik sa stressful life.

    3) Pwede naman pero di lang ganun kadali.

Kung ako sau, mag focus ka nalng sa GA, unless bata ka pa and energetic and you want a fresh start sa career mo. Usually kasi its the other way around, EA to GA/IA/Financial Analyst/etc.

    1. Workload tends to be more talaga sa pinas kasi ikaw lahat. Never akong nakauwi sa bahay namin tuwing april 14 and 15 during my 3 years audit satin.

Pressure is halos parehas pinas and dubai but I would attribute it mostly with the people i worked with.

Having said these, kahit saan parehong stressful ang external audit, lol

    2. Agree with vhoythoy, mas madaling mahire sa audit if you have audit experience.

    3. Puede pero mahirap. That is why it is important to build market and connections pag nasa audit ka lalo na pag me balak kang lumipat sa industry. Ako ang plan ko is to go to audit first sa OZ then transfer sa private o industry pag me local experience na.

Ako nga ayoko na bumalik sa audit firm sa totoo lang at masaya na ako sa private pero realistically i think safer/ much smart choice mag audit firm kung may chance since balak ko mag ca pagpunta sa oz. And generally audit firms lang ang mahilig magsponsor to hire outside pinas (bihira alam ko na gen accountant) di lang sa australia kundi maging sa uk, us, canada, cayman, middle east, jersey/ guernsy, bermuda, south east asians, etc. Nakakuha nga ako ng work sa audit firm sa canada two years ago di lang nakakuha lmo, saklap. And ofcourse my case here in Singapore na sponsor ako ng audit firm from pinas kaya ako napadpad dito.

Malaking bagay tlaga ung big 4/ global firms due to global standards. And sabi ko nga di lahat gusto mag audit firm plus staff turnover is high kapag nakakita ng job somewhere else.

Haloo! Sorry late reply, first week ko kasi sa aking new job.. Naks! Hahaha

First of all, dapat mo din iconsider kung saan state ka dito sa Oz mapapadpad.. Generally speaking, mas stressful at fast paced dito sa Sydney as compared to other states.

    2) Based on my experience at mga kwento kwento dito sa forum, mas madali sa External Audit.

    I hope I've answered your concerns.. :)

Hi! Good day! I just want to ask po some details re: sa work as an EA in Au. Based on my experience when I was still working in an auditing firm, from trial balance to audit to FS preparation, lahat EA ung gumagawa. Ganyan din ba line of work ng mga EAs there in Au? Or audit lang talaga per se ang ginagawa and bahala na ang client mag-adjust? Thank you ng marami! :) :) :)
