@jbristow hi, same tayo..1 yr lng na assess sakin ng ACS but na approve SS ko sa VIC.Auto invite na for 190.

wow congrats. mejo matagal tagal na since may narinig akong naapprove na ICT sa Victoria.

@Xiaomau82 UU nga po..di ko rin masyado inexpect ma aapprove ako ng VIC since sa mga nabasa ko ang strict nila tapos di ko pa na meet yung 3 yrs requirement nila for my occupation. Ni risk ko lng talaga since sila lng ang open nung natapos ko ang ACS at IELTS. Sobrang worth it ng risk na yun kasi yung target ko na NSW eh mins lng nung nag open reach na agad ang quota.

Ah talaga. Mind if i ask u, Phd kaba? kasi sobrang hirap na intindihin ng criteria ng Vic, mejo madami ako kilala/ friends na narereject ng Vic.

@Xiaomau82 ay ala po akong phd or masters ... more on system admin yung work experience ko pero ni risk ko din nominate ang comp network and system engineer. Di rin ako sure ano criteria nila since di naman ako network talaga and sa COE ko mga 1-2 lines lng naka indicate na naghahandle kmi basic network. I guess need cguro nila yung sa ganung occupation kaya ni approve na?

nice. atleast may hope pa din sa Victoria. thanks sa info ha. kala ko kasi hopeless na victoria, madami din kasi ko kilala ICT naka pending pa application gawa ng walang state na open sa ngyn.

Happy New Year everyone!
Balak din po namin mag apply thru NSW State Sponsorship, kaso issubmit pa lang namin ang documents sa EA on 2nd week of January. Gano po ba katagal mag assess ang EA? And I heard na online submission na sila so mas bibilis siguro? Any idea po?

hello po, question lang po ano po ba and required IELTS band score per module para makapagapply for NSW SS? tama po ba dapat band 6 minimum pero dapat over all band 7 score ka? please advise. Thanks!

@czams thank you! Oo nga eh, or baka mag retake ako ng IElts para makuha ko yung desired points na kailangan if ever di ako makapasok. At syempre depende pa din pala sa assessment sa akin ng EA.

Hello po sa lahat. May question lang po me. Kapag po ba lumabas na ang EA result pwede na ako maglodge for EOI? For Visa 190 ba need ko pa na mag open ang NSW ngayong Feb bago ako maglodge for EOI? Tama po ba direct ba sa NSW ako dapat magsubmit ng EOI? TIA.

Yes you can submbit an EOI and choose NSW as sponsoring state kung plan mo mag apply this feb intake. Pwede mo na gawin yan anytime kasi you will need your EOI pag nag- apply ka sa NSW state sponsorship.

Di ba pag nag EOI dapat complete na ang data for the points system? Wala pa akong EA result. I am hoping na dumating na ito within the next two weeks para makapag EOI na ako. marami pa akong tanong ha hope ndi po kayo magsasawa to answer. thanks much! God bless!

Based on the new selection process, "NSW will rank candidates based on core criteria which is: firstly, a candidate's DIBP points score, then their English ability, and then their skilled employment. Where candidates score the same on these core criteria at time of selection, they will be further ranked based on the date and time that their EOI was submitted in SkillSelect."

Given the foregoing, I think the selection process would boils down to first-in, first-out, given that majority of the applicants for state nomination have the same, if not, close points in DIBP, IELTS and work experience.

So, as early as now kelangan na po bang mag-lodge ng SS sa NSW?!! Hehe..

And how would the selection goes? Will they take all the applications and screen everyone? Or will they randomly select from the pool?? Hmmm

it would be your advantage kung mataas points mo. say CSOL ung occupation then you have like 70 points. higher ung chance na you'll get selected. same selection process i guess ng sc 189 for IT professionals.

If you have 70 or even 80 points if your occupation is in CSOL and NOT in SOL therefore you are not eligible to apply for 189.

@raiden14, ok po. ano na pong score nyo ngayon? good luck ha? sana may magopen na for your occupation. I got a feeling ACT may open by June 2015 and SA may open around the same month too..
