Thank you Vhoythoy! I really appreciate your response.

If wala talagang mahanap na workaround, I will follow your advise and go to an agent.

    Thanks again :)

Yup medyo related nman kasi 221113 series as compared to acct 221111 (internal audit 221214 related to external audit 221213 and also related to accountant) so parang magpipinsan lang sila hehehe. Kaya sabi ko if ever may chance ka to get a coe and indicates na you also perform jobs similar to accountant eh much better. I am not sure but maybe you can email/ call cpaa and enquire them your case if similar ba tlaga yung dalawa. You can also use google to look for those people na same with ur case as well as other forums (i.e. pomzinoz, expat forum, british expat, etc).

    ANZSCO 221214 - Internal Auditor
    19 Jan 13 - Academic IELTS Results - passed
12 July 13 - Vetassess Assessment + Point Test Advice: Positive
    03 Nov 13 - Invitation Accepted 70 points
    19 Dec 13 - Lodged Visa 189
    07 Feb 14 - Visa Granted
04 Aug 14 - Initial Entry Date requirement
26 July 14 - Actual IED to Melbourne
    May 2015 - Big Move
June 2015 - Got a permanent role in Melbourne
Apr 2016 - Got a contract consultancy role in Melbourne
May 2016 - Got permanent role and moved to Toowooba, Queensland

And now...... living the life that i have imagined

Unfortunately, wala kc direct number ung skin, comp office number lng meron.

Dun po ba sa EOI humihingi rin ng assessment for work exp? Iniicip kc nmin na qualification lng ipa assess since DIAC pa rin mag decide kng ilang points ibigay sa work exp, tho they also consider the advice of CPAA/ICAA/IPA on work exp.
Hi again @dreambig - my wifey's work reference papers are as follows:

Company 1 - it was signed by the HR Manager together with her direct contact number and it includes a comprehensive list of all her tasks for her tenure with the company.

Company 2 - HR only provided a COE which outlined her tenure in the company, her last drawn salary, her job titles. It did not specify any tasks as they say it is against company policy to provide such. HR though, indicated their contact details there. What we did to remedy was we came up with a statutory declaration which indicated the reason why we cannot provide a list of task in the company letterhead. We then included in the statutory declaration her specific task.

Company 3 - HR only provided a COE which outlined her tenure in the company, her last drawn salary, her job titles. It did not specify any tasks as they say it is against company policy to provide such. HR also indicated their contact details there. The specific task was provided by her immediate boss in a company letterhead so there was no problem here.

Hindi naman hinihingi yung work experience sa paglodge ng EOI however I do believe the opinion of the assessing body is very important. Think of it this way, they assessing body would be in the best position to know whether your experience would be considered relevant or not as they specialized on this particular field. And DIAC naman, they are sort of generalist. Although sinasabi na DIAC are the ones who gives the points, in my opinion malaking weight kung yung claim mo is being backed by the opinion of the assessing body.

    Hope this helps! :)
Question to TasBurrfoot: Referring sa Company 2, mostly my COE eh walang detail job descriptions pero hihingi naman ako pero not all company ko mkakapagbigay. Salamat.
You can use this as reference: http://www.justice.vic.gov.au/home/justice+system/legal+assistance/statutory+declarations/statutory+declaration+form
@TasBurrfoot in the statutory declaration, the job description/job tasks you included there are your own words, right? They may not be absolutely similar to what HR has, right? This is my concern. I don't have the exact info what HR would provide should the assessing authority request for it.

In your own words, it doesn't really matter at this point if it is similar to what HR has BECAUSE in the first place ayaw nga nila magbigat diba? May ibang company ganito, a pain in the ass...

But doesn't matter, do what you have to do - play around with your works but just make sure na you don't put in the job description of a JAVA developer.

    All the best!

@nedz Hello Nedz...IELTS is required by all assessing bodies..ano ba rating mo sa writing? If it is 6.5 and you are confident with it, you can opt for rechecking, you need to pay a fee and your paper will be sent to UK for rechecking and once your score is increased, the fee will be refunded...Writing din kse problem ko before kaya nagparecheck ako and from 6.5 they changed it to 7...
    Good luck..

Bottomline is no one would really know - kaya if you have plans to get a visa, do it as soon as you can.

@TasBurrfoot @021607 : Hi. Please share kung may kaparehas ako dto.

@jeriellejade may i ask, what year did you graduate? ang acctg practice ko kc and acctg theory pinag-isa. Financial Accounting Theory and Practice. some of accounting graduates here applied for a migration assessment thru cpaa got the same outcome. they submitted the syllabus from their school and appealed for re-assessment. Fortunately, they got positive results. :)

Hi guys, for those who are based in the Philippines, how long did it take for CPAA to receive your documents? - I am based in Sydney but sa experience ko with CPAA hindi sila nagsend ng confirmation when they received my docs (unlike ICAA).. what i did para malaman ko kung nareceive na nila, i checked with Australia post yung status ng delivery and nag log in ako sa account ko for migration assessment sa CPAA website. Nakaindicate dun if they already received your documents... :)

Is this the correct mailing address? - Yes, correct po yung address.

@TasBurrfoot Hi Sir, based on your experience, how long is the processing time for CPAA assessment? I already submitted my documents last week and in the website the normal processing time should be 10 to 15 days, but in reality does it take longer? Thank you.
