It's been almost 2 years that I've been lurking in this forum. Now, i'm seriously giving it a shot. And I hope my Mantra will work this time.

    Timeline:
    12 July 2013 : First take of IELTS Academic (R:8.5, S: 7.5, L: 7, W:6.5) Failed
    16 Nov 2013: Second take of IELTS Academic (R:7, S7.5, L:8.5, W6.5) Failed

2014: Na out of focus sa plans buhay!!! (Kailangan ng more push pa.)

    28 Feb 2015: First take of IELTS General (R8.5, S7, L7.5, W6.5)

Si writing talaga ang nagpapahamak sa akin. Nagsubmit na ako ng Express Entry for my Canada dreams. While waiting for the outcome I've checked again the Pinoyau forum. And it so happen that I came to know about Pearson Pte Academics. This time i'll try to push my limit na for this last take sa Pearson. Who knows this time magwork. If it means to happen it will happen. Planning to take the exam Sep this year. I'll update my timeline once done with the exam.

    July 2013 - Took 1st IELTS Acadamics Exam (S-7.5, L-7.0, R-8.5, W6.5)
    Nov 2013 - Took 2nd IELTS Academics Exam (S-7.0, L-7.5, R-6.5, W6.5)
Feb 2016 - Decide to pursue again my OZ dreams
    03 Mar 2016 - PTE Academics Mock Test Set A (L-69, R-68, S-64, W-71)
    16 Mar 2016 - PTE Academics Mock Test Set B (L-73, R-66, S-77, W-68)
    18 Mar 2016 - PTE Academics Actual Exam (L-71, R-70, S-59, W-75)
09 June 2016 - PTE Acadmics (2nd Attempt Praying i can ace it na)

hi @jeriellejade thanks sa reply. cpaa announced some changes regarding migration assessment requirements.

    http://www.cpaaustralia.com.au/become-a-cpa/migration-assessment

I hope i won't have any problem with regard to this, but i'm doubtful about the "management accounting" and "financial management" isn't it the same?

for accountants who passed the migration assessment via cpaa pls. give some tips.. :)

Thank you. Oo nagulat ako. Pero nireencode ko lang yung syllabus and ginawa kong reader friendly yun. 1st page is table ng summary. Second page is statutory declaration and next na yung syllabus. Hundred pages. Super labo kasi ng binigay ng school namin kaya natakot akong magsubmit nalang ng basta basta.

CPAofOz, thanks po sa pag reply agad. More than 10 years na po ko my experience sa acctg work. kaso nun kabataan ko eh palipat lipat kasi ako eh..so di maganda un record ko nun. un last ko sa phils na work, 6 years ako dun, una 2 years as Secretary to Asst. VP Finance, then 2 years sa acctg division then promoted as Sec. to VP Finance. Isang company lahat yun 6 yrs ko. Dito nmn sa Dubai, 9 years na ko as Gen. Acct sa isang company lng din. Average lng ang english ko sa pagkka assess ko sa sarili ko. By the way, babae po pala ako. Thanks again. I'll check ko later un site na binigay mo. :))

@regasdxb maassess naman nila yan kasi yun requirement nila for syllabus is a detailed one. may complete description ng mga subjects. and if kasama un school niyo po dun sa mga kilalang university or college, equivalent na un sa australian bachelor degree, based on my personal insights lang po.

15 pts po un 40 yrs old.

Proficient english is 10 pts and also required by the assessing authorities for accountants, which is at least 7.0 in each band of IElTS or at least 65 pts in each communicative skill of PTE Academic, I recommend you take the latter. http://pinoyau.info/discussion/4233/pte-academic/

Skilled employment outside Australia for 8-10 yrs is 15 pts.

Bachelor degree from an Australian recognized standard is 15 pts.

For the remaining 5 pts that you need to qualify for migration, you can opt your partner's skill qualification be assessed by their relevant authority OR apply for a state or territory government nomination. The first option will lead you to visa 189 (http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/189-) and the other will be for visa 190 (http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/190-).
