nagparamdam nga chief c WA SS eh. nde daw nila maaccess ung EOI hehe. Sabi ko nkapaglodge nko 189.... Tamah bawiin ko nlng un sa oz! haha

ask ko lng po, ung NO ko ns CSOL but then wla state n ns occupation on demand sya. before ns WA pero ngupdate sila ng list. any other options para matuloy ko application ko. i got postive assessment n s NO ko.

Hi, some newbie questions. I'm sorry kung some of these ay nasagot na.

1. If after assessment hindi ka qualified, can you still re-apply after some time?
2. Let's say, okay na lahat and you get a visa, you still have to find a job in Australia right? How hard is it to find one?
3. Which leads me to question 3: Isn't it better to look for a job prior to having your skills assessed?

(1) Pwede ka mag-reapply; usually malalaman mo naman what was the reason why di ka qualified. Work on how to address these and when the time comes, apply ulit.

(2) Yes, you still need to find a job here in Australia. A PR visa will only give you the right to stay here indefinitely and look for a job but it does not provide you with a job though. How hard it is to get a job? Depends on how good your qualifications/experiences are and how well you market yourself in your CV and interview. However, marami ang naghahanap ng local experience in which wala tayo nito as we are new in Australia. I would say it is somehow hard, took us 2 months to find a job. But I know some who got jobs with their 1st month. May kakilala din ako na 9 months na wala pa job.

(3) Chances are, without a skills assessment (hence wala ka din PR visa), they will not really entertain you much... However if you are really talented, they could sponsor you for an employment visa.

can you give us idea on what other documents will DIAC require aside from those docs submitted to ACS? So we can prepare na.

Eto pa lang alam ko:
- Diploma/TOR
- Detailed COE/Stat Declaration
- Payslips (yung last company lang ba required?)
- ITR (last company lang din ba?)
- Bank statement?
- NBI Clearance

kakacheck ko lang po ulet ng skillselect website and nagulat ako na maraming ng changes and parang umaayon na po sakin... i'm applying po for visa 189skilled independent.

tama po ba pagkakaintindi ko... na nagkaka-5 points ako for partner skills kahit na dko na xa kasabay maglodge basta masuffice ung mga criterias below? (dati po kc parang wala to..)

Partner skills

You can receive five points if, when you are invited to apply for this visa, your partner provides evidence that they:
were under 50 years of age (30 yrs old na po xa)
had at least competent English (7 in all bands po xa)
had nominated an occupation on the same skilled occupation list as your nominated occupation (same telco prof po kami)
had been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as having suitable skills for the nominated occupation. (na-assess na din po xa ng engineers australia)

c partner po holds visa 189.
eto na po kc points ko... (dko po tlga kc maabot ung all band 7 sa ielts)

age- 30 pts
english- s=7,l=7.5,r=7.5,w=6.5 ==== 0 pts
employment- 10 pts
qualifications- 15pts
other factors- eto na po ung partner that will give me addl 5 pts para maka-60 na total.

tama po ba? aabot na ko sa 60???

Another question po pala regarding sa result ng vetassess assessment ko.

1. Nakalagay po sa "FIELD OF STUDY:" Architecture, The qualification in not in a highly relevant field of study.

2. Sa PTA naman, qualification/s is recognised by vetassess for the purpose of awarding points for qualifications under the General Skilled Migration points test as comparable to the educational level of an Australian Bachelor Degree.

I just want to make sure na tama ang claim kong 15pts for qualification.

you mean, she's already a visa 189 holder? i mean granted na un visa nya? hmm dapat yata pag magclaim ka ng partner's point kasama sya sa application.
But you can ask other's opinion especially my seniors.

U've mentioned na partners kayo, you mean gf/bf or married couple? bakit di ka nalang nya ginawang defacto? haha sorry nakikiaalam lang

Hello po mga kabayan. Tanong ko lang po, I'm currently applying for visa subclass 189, ICT Business and Systems Analysts (ANZSCO 2611). As per latest update sa SkillSelect website na-reach na this year ang occupation ceiling at next year na ulit sila magiissue ng invitation for that occupation. Nag submit na rin po ako ng EOI, hoping na maipila na yung application ko for next year. Any tips po na mairerecommend nyo para mas mataas ang chance ng pag grant ng visa? Mas ok ba na next year mag submit ng EOI para "fresh" yung application for next year's invitation rounds?

@imketket hi. Na-reset na ulit yung ceiling. Kahapon sila nagsend ng invites. Next round will be in Aug, once a month na lang. Sayang you missed it by one day. 65points ka so most probably mainvite ka na next round.

question, gumawa po ako ng SkillSelect noong 2014 and hindi ko po naasikaso ever since. Ngayon pa lang po ako plan magasikaso ng papers for PR visa. Nakatanggap po ako ng email from SkillSelect na my EOI ID is invalid. Will that ban me from ever applying sa PR Visa po?

@cacophony skillselect acct is good for 2years only, it may have expired that's why invalid na. Just make a new account, no worries about the ban.

hi guys, Me tanung po ako, so recently, nakatanggap ako letter from skillselect na ma g expire na yung application ko sa knila. so ginawa ko chineck ko kasi nga prang draft lang un dati dahil wala pakong assessment. PEro ngyn meron na. so lahat ng meron ako nag fill up nako kung ano meron ako like dun sa EA assessment. Electrical Engineer positive result. then after ko ma fill up, 60 point ung result assessment after ko ma complete. e nagulat lang ako sa result. expected ko kasi 55 lang ako dpat. eto ung tanung ko

1) ung dun sa education attainment: bachelors degree lang ba or bachelors degree in Science, Tech and Information? ano po ba tama?
2)tpos ung community language, dpat ba dito yes? kasi sa pag kakaintindi ko kung na assess ka na for skills assessment at positive nman, YES nato diva?

for your reference eto ung assessment ko:
34yrs old- 25 points
education-15
EA assessment (8yrs) -15
IELTS -6.5 (no points)

1) doesn't matter. Same points naman. 5 pts.
2) community language is for NAATI accredited translators or interpreters. Not for skill. Are you accredited? If yes, 5pts. Yan.
