kung yan po ang question nyo.. the answer is "Yes"..
that is why the system is called SkillSelect, even employers.. or states can view your EOI, and they can invite anyone...

but still, this is NOT yet a visa invitation, it will be an invitiation for "POTENTIAL STATE SPONSORSHIP".. after nyo mag-reply sa knila, at masatisfy nyo ang mga requirements.. then they will give you the SS 5pts, and saka pa alng din kayo iinvite for VISA lodging..
@lock_code2004, does it mean pwede rin magapply ng Employer Nominated visa kahit walang invitation from employer since employers can view your profile via Skillselect?

@lock_code2004, does it mean pwede rin magapply ng Employer Nominated visa kahit walang invitation from employer since employers can view your profile via Skillselect?
    The answer is "YES"

    SKILLSELECT FAQS. Question No.5476... lol..
    http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/index/faqs/

Who will have access to my details in SkillSelect?

This will depend on your visa preference(s).
As part of the EOI process, you will be asked to select the skilled visa(s) you are interested in submitting an EOI for. You can express interest in one or more visa(s).

If you choose to be considered for a state or territory or employer sponsored visa, you are agreeing to allow state or territory governments and/or employers to access your details in SkillSelect.

Employers are not able to view any identifying information such as your name, date of birth, gender, or nationality. Employers can only access information that will help them to consider you for employment; this could include your occupation, your work experience, and your level of English ability.

If you express interest for only the independent or family sponsored visas, the information recorded in your EOI will only be available to the department.

hi! my circumstances have changed after i received the invitation to lodge -- i got hired in a new company. Now, i'm planning to apply and lodge for the visa but I noted that I can no longer change my EOI, since I already got my invitation. If the details in my visa application is different with my EOI (i.e. new job and new country of residency), how is this going to affect my visa application? thanks in advance!

    hi @lock_code2004, @psychoboy,

@loudandclear, During my time of application, ang provision is that you have to be employed at least 12 months before you lodge your application. Alam ko tinanggal na nila yung work provision whatever it is ngyong may skillselect na. :)

Kunwari nag-lodge ka ng EOI application, say you have 60points. So most probably asa queue ka ng madaming 60pts dba? Dba every month may cut off? What if you lodge APRIL, tapos di ka nasama dun sa cut off ng APRIL or MAY, what will happened to your application? Will it carry over to the next month?

Ganon ba yon?

Also, meron na bang memo regarding new policy for July 2013?

    Thanks and God bless! :)

Last Jan 25, from 5 weeks naging 7 weeks.
Then ngayong Feb 8 may change na ulit. Naging 10 weeks na sis.

Wala pa ako nabasa any memo for July 2013 change. Sana if meron man, hindi ganun kalaki yung change no? :)

I have not been reading the reports for the invitations given by DIAC but it seems that in the February round pala hindi nagamit ang total number of allocated invitation.

I reckon this means na lahat ng 60pts who submitted were given an invitation?

Sa March round binabaan ang 189 invitations to 950 per fortnight... :)

Di ba to magiging issue pag nagsubmit ako ng EOI?

You are right that DIAC is the one that decides the number of points to be awarded for education qualification however they usually follow what was recommend by your skills assessment authority...

So if I were in your position, I would just claim 10 points for education... Remember that in the event that DIAC finds out that you overclaimed more points that what they have given you, this is a valid ground for visa refusal.

And they are strict with this...

@psychoboy clarify ko lang how i can claim 10 points. In the education history section >> qualification drop down field.. instead of selecting Bachelor Degree in Science, Business or Technology, I should just select Advanced Diploma, right?

Am not too sure entirely how it goes for diploma but your statement above kinda makes sense; di ko alam ang other options available for you to choose eh...

But definitely claiming 15pts will be deemed a risk if I am to give my view.
